From the BBC...

Quote
Meanwhile, the Swans have transfer listed Andy Gurney and Gary Fisken.

Gurney, who can play in defence and midfield, only started one of the Swans' last six league games, having joined the club from Swindon in September.

Midfielder Fisken only started one league game all season after signing from Watford last summer.

Who would have thought it eh?

Hadn't been following his progress or lack of it as the case may be but I had thought he was doing quite well.

Down the league he goes I suspect.

I suspect he'll sit it out on his fat 3 year contract....until they pay him up.

On the Rivals Swansea site it says he fell out with Robbo.....whoever he is, so entirely possible.

My feelings exactly. I think we could have done with his agression in some of the games this year. As long as he's not back on free kick duty!

He would be a good signing but I think there would be a fee involved ruling us out.

Sorry wrong thread. Tongue (They'd have to pay us to take Gurney back.)

I was watching the Swindon promotion 95/96 season on a video last night Gurney was playing for Bristol Rovers.Steve Finney and Wayne Allison were great that year.

Do NOT bring Gurney back.

He's peaked and he's now shit, his first 6 games if the season for us were the worst spell I have EVER seen from a Town player at times. Better off with Jenkins than the unreliable lippy shight.
