Insidious. Started off with a lot of promise but the final third of the film was ridiculous.

Watched Scream 4 last Sunday. Thought it was the best sequel out of the three. You can't beat the first film but this came a close 2nd. Genuinely hilarious at times too.

a very different point of view from one of my friends on fb:

Oh my God...I must have seriously loved Scream because i've given it the benefit of the doubt since no.1 but now I find myself in such great despair that I ever gave it a chance after neumero uno...Number 4 sucks soooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i won't be taking sides until i've seen it though

I think it's fair to say it was puppets. I'm not actually sure there's any "CGI".  Embarrassed Still, it's amazing what you can do with some puppets, imagination and hard work instead of a computer.

indeed.  look at  the original star wars and that was a decade before.

talking of which I see Lucas is still dicking around with it for the bluray set. toss face

I thought this was definetily the best one since the first one. A very good watch and Emma Roberts is so hot !

Scream 4 was awful. Just awful. It was just a parody of teen horror. Maybe I've mussed the joke and this was meant to be laughing at itself.

All the Scream films are suppose to be self referencing, parodies. The plot I thought was decent and very similarly shot to the 1st one. The 2nd and especially the 3rd one were awful imo.

She definately is.

I rewatched Event Horizon last night, still one of my favourite sci-fi horror films. I'd never really thought about the ending aand whether Starck was just hallucinating or not...

Not seen it but as I read this post the advert came on for it, which was quite a co-incidence

...and it was then followed by an advert for Star Wars in blue ray as I continued to read the thread, which was rather odd.

I watched Pulp Fiction last night - first time I've seen it!

Finally got round to watching Super 8. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. The kids in this film were absolutely superb and I think the whole film hinged on their performances, which were first rate.
