I bawled my eyes out to Marley & Me, it was a bit close to home in a non-animal way.

Non-animal way? Isn't it about a dog? I'm sort of drawn to those films simply because I say I shouldn't watch them, which seems to make me want to watch them. Like a gory video or something awful you're told not to view. Having lost dogs just the thought of watching them makes me sad though.

It's like Hachi - A dog's tale. The synopsis almost made me cry and even the thought of it makes me come over all girly and emotional! I think I'll have to watch it simply to get over the idea it's so very sad.

(That episode of Futurama with Fry's dog is similar and that made me cry like a baby.)

Just watched Four Lions on Channel Four. I laughed, a lot. Tasteless it sure is, but it's a magnificent farce all the same.

The sentiment can be carried over to humans though. He says in the last lines "Give a dog your heart and he'll give you his....How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare, and pure, and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?"

Finally watched Inbetweeners Sat afternoon! Was good - some random women trying to bring a 3 day old baby in a car seat into the cinema and plonk it in the isle behind us was a bit random though?? She was promptly asked to leave? Wonder what goes through people's heads??

I started watching it and one of the things I noticed, which I hadn't expected, was how amazing the CGI was in 1986. I've seen films far more modern with effects that are shit. The effects I saw before I turned it off wouldn't look out of place today.

Watched Scream 4 last Sunday. Thought it was the best sequel out of the three. You can't beat the first film but this came a close 2nd. Genuinely hilarious at times too.

I think it's fair to say it was puppets. I'm not actually sure there's any "CGI".  Embarrassed Still, it's amazing what you can do with some puppets, imagination and hard work instead of a computer.
