Watched Unknown last night. Good build up but the twist near the end meant I didn't care what any of the characters did next.
Lots of potential not realised.

I watched Limitless yesterday, worth a watch as long as you leave your brain at the door.

is that the one where the family meets up for christmas or something like that, something crashes on their farmland and when they go out to investigate one of them gets shot by an alien? then the aliens walk past the windows of the house and the screen goes all blocky? That film is so shit its ace, watched it about 10 years ago, no idea what it was called until a few years back it was on again, watched it again, loved it just as much. awful acting, really shit aliens too, the talking head 'experts' were appallingly awesome as well.
oh, 'Adjustment Bureau' is quite good, i liked it.
Yea that's the one, it's so good because it's so shit. Definitely worth the watch, but the worst part is the continuous cutting to the So called "experts" who were such bad actors. can't believe some people thought the tape was real.

I downloaded the first two episodes of breaking bad S4 as they aired in america, but have been holding off because I prefer to watch them in batches. It's really really fucking good though.

Four Lions is on C4 tonight at 9pm. If you haven't seen it then it's a must. Chris Morris is a bit of a genius.

watched Thor. If you have young kids they will like it. I however thought it was a load of bollox. Could have been so good as well. The acting, narrative and tie in's were sooooo lame. 4/10 Im going to try Attack the Block this evening

Big fan of the Chris Morris/Armando Iannucci stable but thought Four Lions was disappointing in areas... Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but I think there's a bit of a lull in the middle.

I definitely know where your coming from, although I think the way it treated the subject matter in an inside out way was enough to carry it over that middle lull for me. Also, (A bit spoilery...) even knowing it was a Chris Morris effort and having heard a lot about it, I still couldn't quite believe that something wouldn't happen to stop them going through with it at the end. I think that tense feeling held it together. Shit that was a mess of a paragraph.

I bawled my eyes out to Marley & Me, it was a bit close to home in a non-animal way.
Educated the girlfriend by getting her to watch Usual Suspects, which remains brilliant, and Road to Perdition, which is also very good.
Saw 'The Skin I Live In' at the cinema, directed by Almodóvar and with Antonia Banderas - fuck that was weird. It contains the ULTIMATE woman "you would but shouldn't".
I've also got the Beaver to waTch, which looks good.
