I don't understand why Will Ferrell is so popular, I haven't seen a film with him in that i've enjoyed. A lot of people seemed to love The Anchorman but I thought it was fucking crap.

Im so glad im not the only person with this view

I watched Dr Strangelove off the back of some recommendations from a few guys on this site and I thought it was a fantastic film. The comedy side was so good. But it was also very dark and creepy at times. Excellent film. The character ''Buck'' is one of my favorite film characters now!

This week i have watched 'Burn After Reading' and 'Hall Pass'.

Burn After Reading was great, really enjoyed it.

Hall Pass has had shocking reviews, but i thought there were moments in it that were genuinely funny. It's a typical Owen Wilson film, and as with everything before and since Wedding Crashers, it stays in its shadow. Not bad for a 'remove brain for 90 minutes' film, quite amusing.

Just got round to watching the first 3 rambo films.

First one is a bit slow, but the second and third films are decent enough.

Watched The Kings Speech, which I really enjoyed.
Also watched The Other Guys and Social Network, both of which were shite.

Have you seen Stranger Than Fiction?

Watched Dick Tracy for the first time since I was a kid... Very poor. The Dick Tracy 'franchise' is definitely something that should be explored against by Hollywood as it could be a really cool more adult series.

Also, Due Date was poor. John Hughes dealt for this far better with Planes, Trains & Automobiles... It's not exactly the same, I grant you, but as far as two-opposites-in-cross country-road trip is concerned then Candy and Martin still reign supreme.

I didn't even bother finishing Howard Marks.

Very disappointing attempt at what could have been a great movie.

On recent plane journeys I watched -

The Kings Speech - good. Not sure why Farrell won an oscar and the guy that played the doctor didn't. In my opinion he was better.

Social Network - reasonably interesting

Going the Distance - Reasonably entertaining 'Chick Flick type comedy'

Due Date - disappointing

Megamind - amusing

Air France - utter bollocks (this isn't a film, if it was it would be terrible and you wouldn't be able to understand it)
