Saw Kick Ass tonight - not a bad film at all. Hit Girl stole the show.

Watched the remake of The Crazies the other night which was alright. Could've/should've been better. Got to hate "the man".

saw submarine on friday night the new richard ayode film, was pretty good, was worried it would look like a tv film what with his background but shouldnt have worried, excellent indie film with some cracking acting and quirky story lines. very good and very different to the usual shit served up at cineworld.

Last night I watched The Happening on Channel 4. In this film M. Night Shyamalan continues to prove that he is a one trick pony that spunked his director worth in the 6th Sense and then fell of the edge of a cliff ideas wise.

Quite how he has managed to string along the film companies into investing into his films is perhaps his greatest achievement to date.

He owes me 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life back.

I'm fascinated by The Happening. I like the idea but it's execution is absolutely woeful. The worst thing about it, for me, is the acting. I really like Wahlberg but this wasn't for him while the usually good Zooey Deschanel is atrocious.

Despite all this, I can watch it!

I haven't seen The Happening but I did watch trashy horror Wishmaster the other night.First up it was terrible, secondly it looked like it was made in 1987 not 1997 and thirdly it did make me laugh in places, it was that bad.

Watched an old film last night...Murder in the First.

Kevin Bacon was brilliant, based on a true story about Alcatraz......a good film it was.

No, given your glowing review I'll wait for it to appear on C4, watch it, then complain it was rubbish.

To be fair to the cast, the acting is terrible mainly because the script creaks like an arthritic octagenarian pole dancer.
