Downloaded four lions earlier (which I have seen before), and citizen kane earlier (which I haven't seen before). I'm not really in the mood for anything too complicated, so will probably watch citizen kane some other time.

Also, because I cannot find the TV thread I will say it here. I implore all of you to watch a TV show called community. It's not an exaggeration to say it is the funniest american sitcom, second only to arrested development. And that is nothing to be ashamed about. You're only missing out by not watching, it's easy enough to find on the internet

Also seen The King's Speech, would agree with much of what was said here, excellent film and whilst it wasn't a comedy by any means, one scene had me and t'girlfriend in genuine tears of laughter.

Watched Dinner for Schmucks... I felt like a bit of a schmuck for watching it. It isn't very good in fact it was dreadful. I really like Steve Carell and don't mind Paul Rudd - a case of 'too many cooks' as every scene has comic actors trying to impress (Zach Galifianakis, Jermaine Clement and David Walliams et al).

Grown Ups wasn't up to much either but it was harmless and more watchable than 'Schmucks'.

Went to see 127 hours last night.
Great film,

About 5 minutes after the gory bit, someone in the cinema decided to collapse in a heap in the aisle, so they had to stop the film, put the lights on and wait until an ambulance was called.
The end seemed a bit of an anti-climax after that.

Watched Super Mario Bros earlier. Absolute rubbish

Watched the room after. Without doubt the worst film i've ever seen, but also the funniest. 100 minutes of the sort of stuff garth marenghi's dark place parodys. Haven't lAaughed so hard in ages

I didn't think the gory bit was that bad at all, maybe because of the circumstance, as it was necessity rather than just pain infliction (like Saw, for example)
I actually sat glued to the screen while it was happening and thought it was brilliantly done without being overly gory.

Just watched cemetery junction, which is not deserving of the 7/10 it got on imdb. Only saving grace is that it's english, and mentions swindon. Not gervaises finest

I spit on your grave 2010.

I had no idea they remade it.

I watched the original a couple of months ago on the horror channel, mainly because I remember it being banned in the 80's.

The subject matter isn't exactly pleasant, but I thought it was pretty tame by today's standards. Would never be banned now.
