just back from this, its great, like tarantino mixed with superbad. drink 3 pints beforehand and i guarantee: you'll enjoy it, need at least one piss break, and have to go again as soon as the credits roll |

I accept it's importance within modern cinema and it's Box Office are second to none. I honestly didn't go in to the cinema wanting/expecting to dislike it. I did dislike it - I like a good story and it was sloppy, predictable et al.

Went to see How to Train A Dragon in 3D with wife and kids earlier today - a really good family film. I'm not quite sure why the elder Vikigs spoke Jocko and the younger ones Yank but hey ho.

clocked up a few recently
Rendition - pretty good, not brilliant, better than average
Curious case of Benjamin Button - cant honestly say that I saw the point of the film. Story was ridiculous really, the fact that very few people seemed to notice what was going on, and even if they did failed to find it strange sort of made it even more ridiculous.
Angels & Demons - an OK adaption of an OK book, but suspect that if you haven't read the book you would find it impossible to follow what is going on.
Revolutionary Road - OK. Nothing more, nothing less.

Saw 2012 over the weekend, makes 'The day after tomorrow' look intellectually stimulating.
Unbelievably shite, but amazing graphics.
Every single aspect of this film was stolen from some other film and stitched together into 2 1/2 hrs of sentimental cheesy, corny, action packed drivel.
I loved it.
