Just watching The Invention of Lying - Not great but not as bad as what many people had suggested to me.

Just have :-p

Well you know I thought someone might just have an opinion about it instead of replying with stupid arsey comments. Silly me.

Anyway, for anybody who hasn't seen it, it was pretty good. Reminded me of the Beatty/Dunaway Bonnie and Clyde in some ways, or alternatively Badlands if you want a newer comparison. What I didn't like was it was one of those bloody dark films where the director doesn't seem to have enough lighting and you're squinting all of the time to see what is going on. Six out of ten.

Dark films? Maybe you should have bought a new telly instead of the film Wink

Well, when you get to Alan's age maybe you'll sympathise. He has to buy films on DVD now as he's banned from the cinema after that unpleasant incident with the ear trumpet when the couple in front complained about him repeatedly saying "What's that he's saying? What? Speak up! Why do these modern youngsters always have to mumble so much?"

No orders from the gaffer, so no, doesn't look like it. I have some vague recollection of being under a three liner from the better half to be back from work early on Thursday for something or other as well, but tbh I may have mixed that up. Instinctive fear reflex always kicks in when I contemplate a night out Smiley

I watched Harry Brown on tuesday night - cracking film, best I've seen this year. Reminded me of Gran Torino, which is certainly no bad thing.

Watched The Informant last night, which was ok. Pretty confusing, and Matt Damon's tache bothered me throughout.
