Two yesterday for me:
Drag Me to Hell - it all depends if you like shit horror. This is shit horror at its finest.
I thought it tried a bit too hard to be too tongue in cheek. On reflection it wasn't half as bad as the review I gave it several months back. |

Fair enough - I actually thought it got the "tongue in cheek level" about right. Shit horror should make you laugh, and this did the job for me. |

Been watching the Cube films. Just finished 'Hypercube', going to watch 'Cube Zero' whenever I next get a chance. Slightly daft (poorly scripted and acted) but I find them compelling viewing for some reason.

It's a good special effects sci-fi romp and they managed to avoid the 'Old-Spock' appearance coming across as a pointless cameo. It's still no Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, but still better than most the old star trek films. |
