yes I watched it all. for a film with extremely limited cast or settings to be good it has to be really good (ie The Cube). This wasn't good enough by miles... and so the fact there's hardly any characters was probably a big factor in it being boring. Also whilst the look of the film (retro 70s sci-fi) was something I found interesting and liked a bit, ultimately the fact it was all greys meant it was visually mundane. What did you like about it?  |

Some of the films I watched on the plane An Education - quite a sweet little film Cloudy with a chance of meatballs - ace! Up in the air - again quite a sweet film Precious - read the book first - its was horrific but strangley uplifting - the film is good but my advice would be to read the book first Couples retreat - meh! whiled away some time The Queen - randomly Id never watched this and needed a Michael Shhen fix This is it - Wow that would have been one hell of a show! a film with Rennee Zellwegger based on that mans life that was in Im a celebrity? some Random film with Jennifer Aniston where she worked in a supermarket??? |

The Jennifer Aniston one sounds like The Good Girl which is one of her better efforts.
Watched Dead Presidents which was alright.
Also, just finished Fantastic Mr. Fox, pure Wes Anderson.

Continuing my regular foray to the cinema for childrens films. With children. My own. Honest. Alice yesterday. Expected so much more. Very 'meh' as I believe the young people used to say. Also it was pointed out that the red queen was entirely based on Queenie from Blackadder 2 and the white queen on Nigella Lawson. Very off putting and slightly weird. Especially the Nigella Lawson one.

Ah right, just checked IMDB - Michael sheen plays the white rabbit. Mr Sheen just voices it. Didn't notice as he didnt sound like Brian Clough or Tony Blair. I probably would have enjoyed it more if he did! |

I'm in love with the man!! So loving your pepper pig dad picture! I've spent the last 3 weeks watching Charlie and Lola with my 3 year old newphew! It's the best kids programme EVER! The wiggles however all deserve to be shot!!

One of the latest people (or indeed animals) I have been told I look like. This time by my kids (3 and 6) on account of me being 'a little bit fat', wearing glasses and having a deep voice. No mention of the tiny thin arms. The joy of living with 3 females.

 Likewise. Took my 7-year old to see "Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief" yesterday (toyed with Alice but it looked a bit dark) and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure whether it'd be much cop without the kid in tow, but as a choice to take the kids to, it was great. Also helped that he's a bit of a Greek myths buff so that added to the attraction, but not necessary to enjoy the film |
