Watchmen. Long and crap, not a good combination.

I was disappointed by Watchmen too. Didn't think it'd be brilliant, but didn't think it would be that convuluted and boring either.

Watched Adventureland yesterday. Not quite sure what I think of it. It was a bit different plotwise. It was marketed as a comedy but even in terms of subtle quirkier comedies (eg Napoleon Dynamite, Eagle vs. Shark) there weren't really any laughs. Think of it as more of an off-key relationship drama. Overall I'd say I'd rate it below average. A better sense of humour wouldn't have gone amiss and the ending was weak.

I was quite looking forward to this after some good reviews and a lot of hype but i have to say i thought it was utter garbage and switched it off after about 40 mins, which i hardly ever do with films,

What, Adventureland?

Yeah I thought it'd be good too and wanted to like it but at the end of the day it just wasn 't that good was it?

At least that Kristen Stewart girl was better in it than she was in Twilight. Her character in that and the script was rubbish tho. I just admitted I've watched Twilight.  Doh

I saw Edge of Darkness at the cinema recently. It's a good film, spoilt by a convoluted and unrealistic final scene though. There's also a couple of well-staged deaths in this film that come out of nowhere!

Once you got over the disappointment of mis-reading the title that is.

Not up to the original I didn't think, much to my disappointment. As, like you, I really enjoyed the first one.
