Watched Premonition at the weekend with Sandra (cant decide if I fancy you or not because you do sometimes look a bit like a little boy) Bullock. Was OK once you get the jist of it, basically she relives the weeks before & after her husbands death in a random order, jumping from funeral day to the day before it happened then further forward etc. A bit screwed up and random, but watchable none the less.

I watched Blue Velvet for the first time last night. In my opinion it wasn't as good as critics have said. Dennis Hopper is good in it tho. Some vivid scenes.

Sat in the cinema at the moment waiting for Avatar 3D to start.

a) You're in the cinema using your phone to get on the forum = geek

b) The footie's on the radio! Where's your priorities?

1) I'm by myself so it isn't anti-social
2) The film hasn't started yet.
3) It's true about the football but where I am you can't get BBC Squndon anyway

Agreed-she looks like Michael Jackson used to when he was alive.

Avatar was pretty amazing. Just an awesome visual experience. Worth the money. This is the first of the modern wave of 3D films I've seen and it wasn't just a gimmick. For some films it can definitely add something to the experience. It wouldn't be necessary for everything to come out in 3D tho.

This film probably does represent some kind of landmark in visuals. Like Jurrasic Park or The Matrix.
