I watched JCVD on there the other week and the picture quality was better than I thought it would be.

Having a look now there are some good films on there which are included as part of your package but they're difficult to filter down and find in amongst the tat (The Fluffer?)

Watch Tell No One (French, English subtitles) if you haven't already.

I think it's between Nightwatch (Danish version) and Chopper tonight.

I see they've got King of Kong on there as well, that's supposed to be good.

I quite enjoyed it as it's a bit different. It's a bit sad it has you willing the good guy on at times.

I watched Wolf Creek this weekend expecting good things.  I am still waiting for these good things some 40 hours later.  Poor.

I thought that was quality. Are you into horror films though?

I picked up Tell no one, today for £3 just about to chuck it on.

I've just finished Night Watch.

I thought it was a good thriller, certainly kept me in suspense even if it is relatively easy to work out some of the plot part way through the film. Despite doing so, I still wasn't sure how it would all pan out at the end. I think that aspect is good if it is intentional or not, it had me almost trying to spell out to the characters what I thought was going on, classic horror style without the characters being annoying and naive.

I'm quite a big horror fan, but I just didn't warm to the characters at all, and found it quite plodding at times.  Maybe I was just in a bad mood.

Started watching Valkyrie last night but couldn't finish as I found it to be very poor, I usually finish movies regardless but I thought better of it.

Tonight I shall be watching Observe and Report.

Just saw The Thin Red Line. A lot of potential for it to be a classic war film, but doesn't quite make it. No real strong central characters and very slow to get going.

Anyone recommend me any other war films?

Letters from Iwo Jima & Flags of our Fathers if you've not seen them yet.

Also Days of Glory, it's subtitled but I thought it was very good.

Seen all them, Iwo Jima I thought was particularly good.
