Skyfall would have been my favourite Bond film were it not for the dragged out and slightly disappointing ending, especially given the first 2/3 of the film. However, the ending was more to do with development of Bond's character for the future.

The villain is bloody brilliant, one of the more iconic ones.

Watched Moonrise Kingdom last night. Best film I've watched in ages. Well since The Avengers.

Love the colours and thought Bruce Willis was ace.

Watched Skyfall this afternoon. First Bond film I've seen since Die Another Day and was impressed.

Are the other recent films similar?

Quantum of Solace is one of the very worst films I have ever seen, but I remember Casino Royale being watchable.

I have seen all the Bond films....Skyfall certainly in the top lot.....you will enjoy Casino Royale but not Quantum of Solace. All the Sean Conery films are classic but of a different era. Roger Moore are dated now....early Brosman films worth seeing....that should keep you going....enjoy Yes

I'll try and find Casino Royale then...seen more or less all of the Bond films but none of Daniel Craig's.

Watched Argo this afternoon. Tense thriller based on the events of the U.S Embassy hostage situation in Iran in the 70s/80s.
