Glad it's good and now really want to watch it. I was worried Bond films were going to be shit for ever more after The Quantum of Solace, which was absolutely diabolical.

Just watched Jack Ketchum's the girl next door.

Gruesome stuff.

I watched a Swedish/Norweigen vampire film called Let the right one in. It was brilliant, about a lonely young boy who has a young girl move in who is a vampire, it tells the tale of how they become friends. it was really bloody & gory.

I'm taking my oldest son to see Skyfall on Wednesday

Completely forgot to post on here when I went to see Skyfall in the Imax on Saturday.

Fucking. Amazing.

If you were in any doubts about going to see it, throw them out the window and get to the cinema. Best Bond film in Decades.

On the basis I find all Bond films dull as fuck, but somehow found the recent Casino Royale to be somewhat watchable, how should I take your review?

Go see it. Casino Royale isn't as interesting, exciting, and generally awesome as Skyfall. Least in my opinion.

My main problem with Daniel Craig as Bond was that he was simply a blonde head on a big body that punched people. There was no real character-building in either of his previous films. In Skyfall, he actually appears to be a person, as opposed to a government-run robotics programme.

See Disney are buying up LucasFilm for $4b and plan on releasing 3 new Star Wars films, first one due in 2015.

Just got back from watching Skyfall. It was probably the best Bond film so far, well worth the £5.95 for me & my son to watch it.
