When I leave Newcastle (one day...), the one thing I shall miss is the Tyneside Cinema.

5 films booked and it cost £8.80 for me and the lady.

I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead last night. Extremely inspirational and highly recommended. It's also starring a likeable Aussie, which I think makes it better. It's about how he was fat and ill then went on a road trip across the US living off veg and fruit juice as a means of becoming healthy again. Can be watched at the below link.

Is that the one with Oxford in it? They were filming in the city centre around this time last year I think.

Yeah that's the one, back when Xavier was a student.

Just back from Tyrannosaur, written and directed by Paddy Considine.

Fucking gritty but very good too.

Finally saw Senna last night. A good watch but I'm not sure it was exactly representative of the whole of the '89 season collision story.

Scary how those old F1 cars disintegrated on impact.

Grown Ups. I'm not a huge fan of the likes of Adam Sandler and Kevin James etc. but the cast had great chemistry which shone through. Much better than I thought it'd be.

Am just about to watch ID after taking about it with someone on the train home from Plymouth.  Been a while since I've seen it.
