Now whether he was good enough will always be open to debate (personally I don't think he was), but he always put the effort in.

How many of those that played Saturday could say the same, not very many.  Angry

Always struck me as the headless chicken type, more than the lazy fucker.

Always seemed to be running around, even if he didn't know why.

Too slow in thought when in possession. Had a reasonable 'engine' but it isn't enough. Good luck to him though.

I thought he was a committed player who couldn't play at league 1 level - he'll probably make a half decent career in league 2 but trying isn't enough in football - chuck me in a town shirt and fuck me will I try, but I will also fail.

on the subject of timlin... the best i've ever seen him play was against portsmouth pre-season, i didn't see him once in our L2 season as I wasn't in the country, same for his follow up loan spell in L1.  Saw most of last season and Saturday.

I've honestly not seen anything to suggest he's good enough for us, I'm with Reg, he's a L2 player.
