Well yeah but that wasnt the point.

Boate keeps mentioning Foderinghams age in every post - as if it makes some sort of difference that he's only 21.

Like 21 makes him some fragile kid who hasnt been out in the real world yet. He's a fully grown adult whose been involved in professional football for 3 years (plus a previous 9 coming up the ranks)

Whilst it will probably be the first time he's been taken off for poor performance and probably the first time a manager has criticed him so openly - I very much doubt it'll be the first time he's cocked up and had a bollocking.

21 is still an adult and isnt even that young in footballing terms either.

My eldest daughter is 22. She knows everything. You can't have a conversation with her without her telling us that we are wrong. It drives me nuts. I know where Paolo is coming from.

With age comes wisdom.

''What is with Preston Fans? Why do they hate us so much?''

We dont hate you, we just think you lads are a little jumped up.

Looking at your predictions was laughable, this season is going to be a massive disappointment for you lads if you are expecting to win every game 3-0 and walk the division.

Fair point Alan...but...not the context in which Boeta means it - well in my interpretation anyway.

You're right, on the back of an unbeaten start in which we have conceded no league goals and dispatched two teams from higher divisions, we had absolutely NO right to be confident. Silly us.

Ok - I was thinking more about Fod's (possible?) attitude.

Where as I interpreted Boeta's constant reference to his age as a way to imply that he's a fragile young kid who will have lost all of his confidence over being substituted.

Yes, while you were busy shitting yourself on the hard shoulder of the M6  Cheesy PdC said (ranted?) that he would ask the chairman to arrange a GK on loan. It wasn't clear if that was only if Wes didn't apologise though.

Cheers for the update (and concern, the hard shoulder is not a nice place to be when squatting haha!!!)

Ha ha, so I am with you on that then! Perhaps I should get my daughter hooked up with Fods...they would scrap like bull terriers.

It's Foderinghamgate that's got this thread up to 48 pages.

Is Foderingham Gate, one of those posh enclaves down the end of Broome Manor Lane?

Newt wrong with being confident but some of you seem a tad delusional.

You lads wont get far this season, mainly due to your manager. What he did to Foderingham today was unbelievable! What sort of manager/cunt makes a scapegoat out of his players?

One that doesnt tolerate poor attitude or poor performance.

A manager/cunt who is a perfectionist.

Which is exactly why we will go far this season.
