Not wanting to defend the substitution, but why is Wes absolved of all responsibility?

He's not, but I don't agree with humiliating a player after 20 minutes. I didn't agree with it last season, and I don't this.

Hope they kiss and make up later.

Imagine the Adver headline tomorrow

It'll be sensationalist based on no facts... Smiley

Wes Foderingham stated in late june that he expected Swindon to sign another keeper before the season started to give him competition. Maybe Di Canio should have done so, to keep Wes on his toes. That would probably have been better than subbing him early on...

Very very disappointing in more ways than one.  We await the next installment of the roller coaster that is Swindon Town FC.

Same, and again the very best of luck to Bedwell but this is as unfair on him as it is on Foderingham, he's on a hiding to nothing now.
Think this point has been missed a little in the Foderingham vs Di Canio furore (and I appreciate it's potentially a bit of a side issue to some extent). But it won't have done Bedwell's development/confidence any good, feel for the lad.

Di Canio is unconventional, to say the least.. we already know who he is.. He's pretty mad, and has his methods, but till now they seemed to work, so I can't overreact after a GK substitution

Unconventional?!! The worst management decision I have ever seen in any walk of life

Totally agree, he was unnecessarily thrown into a ridiculous situation.  Unfair.

Seems on twitter di canio walked to the town fans indicating it was his fault. Fair play if that's true
