There is no rule for sending a message.

Generally common sense works best.

I agree with Sonic btw.

He's done this to Wes, yet Lanzano made so many mistakes last season (Burton away to name but one), he didn't sub him (and I've just checked...there was a keeper on the bench for all Lanzano's games).

But why did PdC no.2 not try and talk him out of it?

How many times have you seen a GK subbed

Di Canio is unconventional, to say the least.. we already know who he is.. He's pretty mad, and has his methods, but till now they seemed to work, so I can't overreact after a GK substitution

There is no rule for sending a message. We don't have enough informations to criticize his decision. All we know is players are playing shit after an amazing win.. It's the most typical mistake the could have made..

You lessen your own argument by using the word players.  They've all sounded shit, yet Foderingham is the only one who's been publicly humilated.

Anyone at the game and can report as to whether Wes has resurfaced on the bench?

Who's Bostock replaced?

U can't sub them all can u??  Subbing the GK makes more noise, and that's probably what Di Canio wants.. He wants to make them know they can't afford to be complacent!

And no one has mentioned that Wes was driving round the pikeys stadium against Gills last year while everyone celebrated on the pitch....despite being teatotal and not involved in drink-gate. All very strange.
