I think Tuesday may prove whether it is a turning point or not. You would have to beat Shrews and Cheltenham this month and win the majority of your other games if you have serious top 3 aspirations.

Gillingham have more momentum currently and Aldershot may steal a surprise march into the play off mix up, they're going very well right now. In contrast, 4 or 5 wins in the next 10 will see you out of the mix I reckon. Other teams helped us both out yesterday by not getting decent results.

Shrewsbury away will be a very tough ask, they are the best in the division at home. It could well be whilst you're lapping up the victory over us you slide outside of the playoffs Tuesday. Please come back if you do.

All clubs in this division have a 'wage cap', and ours will be bigger than others as we have bigger crowds than all bar one.

Well the final day of mourning is officially over. Yes it hurt Saturday and Sunday but today feels better.
A few takes from Saturday:
Football
- Simply a bad day and we had the chances but did not finish.
- Di Canio at the end was fantastic, along with the players. Glad our fans showed appreciation.
- The League Table does not lie - The best team at the top. 10 wins out of 10 had the end one day.

Support
- Oxford don't sing much but are good at ripping seats up in their own stadium.
- Rockin Robin's Mum is O.K. Phoned her last night and Police doing all they can to find the twat who threw the seat.
- If we ever play them again (if) restrict their fans to the corner of the North Stand.

The piss take with the decent Pox fans is over and done, even yesterday had one in the gym saying he could see why Swindon are a decent side and he feels we will still win the league. You can't take it away from the Pox their centrebacks Duberry and Wing both had fantastic games along with the keeper.
No more postings or reading their forum for me. Have not even looked since last week and have deleted my registration.

I am guessing if we played them again next season we would have to give them a minimum 10% allocation which would be 1400 odd? My only concern with hearding the livestock in to the corner of the Arkells is it will lead to more innocent folk (shame on you Poxford for attacking season ticket holding shirters) getting attacked with various missiles. The other major concern is where would we squeeze in 1400 Staffies.

According to the Football Ground Guide Website the away Section in the Arkells only holds 1,200 so we would have to give them more (Stratton Bank) to make the minimum 10% requirement, can't do that in the Arkels because of the Segregration (not planned very well imo)  >:(. The Stratton Bank hold 2,100 which would cover this but then we would more than likely have 1,200 seats unavailable if we only gave them the bank.

Looking on a positive side because of their allocation they brought 2,700 to Swindon at £25 in the Arkells and £19 (I presume) on the bank; which means they have paid there part in funding our Promotion run :D

This is one of the problems with internet forums.  The idiot who started this thread was happy to do so at the time; but now that his team's season has collapsed - and with it, the entire premise of the thread that he started - he's gone.  Poof!  (Not saying he's gay or anything.  More 'poof' as in disappeared in a cloud of dust, sort of thing.)
