I don't expect anybody to believe this, but I was told by my mate that his mrs trimmed Maradona's beard yesterday.  The story goes as follows.  My mate receives a call off someone on sat night saying Maradona is at some charity gig in Oxford, anyway he thinks nothing of it. Then yesterday afternoon after his mrs returns from work, he indulges in the usual idol chitchat with his his other half. She goes onto tell him that some guy goes into the barbers she works in with some heavies, they stand on the door and insist that no one comes in whilst the gent has his beard trimmed. Now she obviously thinks this is somewhat unusual but can't understand why.
Later that night my mate then sits down to watch MOTD when the mystery man appears on the box. 'who's that man?' asks my mates mrs. My mate responds by telling her that it's Maradona one the greatest players to have played. She then explains to my mate that this was the mystery man who came into the barber.

Now it seems highly unlikely to me, but I have reason to question him as he has nothing to gain by making up such an elaborate lie. Maybe Maradona was speaking with AF about young argentinian players.
