Anyone remember this game??  An absolute masterpiece for the Amiga!  Just downloading the PC version!

Used to have Xenon on the pc... not sure if it was 1 or 2 though. Legendary game! theme tune on the Amiga kicked ass!

iven a level playing field (i.e. enough water so a shark could manouevre, but not so deep that a bear would flounder) who would win in a fight between a bear and a shark?

yeah, thats the one, done by bitmap brothers.  Sheer quality game of its time, and seeing as I am feeling retro at the moment, and just downloaded it, i am gonna give it another go!!

The bitmap brothers brings back some memories -

Speedball 2 - one of my favorite games ever. whoever thought of combining football, rugby basketball and ice hockey setting it in the future and awarding points for the killing of oposition players needs a fucking gold medal. That had a great soundtrack too.
