I know it's just a load of pre season friendlies,  that they mean nothing and that when the league games begin it's all very different, but am I the only one who feels a little uneasy that we've been losing to a few non league outfits and being turned over easily by the bigger clubs?

Our seats for the Liverpool game have been moved to accommodate the TV cameras.

No.  For as long as I have been watching, there has never been any correlation between pre-season performance and the season that follows.  Pre-season is experimental in so many ways, which is why I always tend to give it a miss.

I always think that bad pre season = good season.

I used to think that myself until I read through the stats for pre season wins/losses vs actual league performance and this is the worst pre season results wise that we have had in 20 years.

Actually very often the better the results pre season then often the better the season went afterwards.

Good pre-season results = we’re probably going up
Bad pre-season results = bear no relation to how the season will turn out.

I think that’s how it works  Cool
