Am i the only one that has not been impressed by this lad in the 2 friendlies i have seen. Has looked bang average against crap opposition. Beggars can't be choosers and all, but this one stinks a little of bodies for the immediate games, something they have said they are against.
Still wait and see.
Would much rather Grant and McEachran are confirmed.
I'm in the exact same boat as you. One of those where he has looked 'good' in pre season because he runs directly, but he has either ran in to trouble or his final product is lacking. Rather not sign him based on this pre season, but seen enough in his games for Crewe and Carlisle against us that it wouldn't be end of the world if he can get his head down and recapture his early promise.

Interesting times ahead.
Will just have to wait and see. The interesting times might be today or tomorrow maybe later in the week.

I enjoyed watching him on Saturday. He had energy, always wanted the ball and tried to do something positive when he had the ball. I’m not sure he can cross or shoot but I’d like to see him again, if not just for his dishevelled look and Stan Bowles-ness.

Mckirdy has certainly got a very unique build for a footballer. I've watched enough of his highlights to see he has talent. He proved that at the country ground on Wellen's first game in charge. I completely understand the marmite reaction he must get whatever club he rocks up at.

I have been reliably informed that I know nothing. However the implication from the 'cat typing furiously at a keyboard' gif is that there may be more than 1 in today. A cat typing like that would surely produce more than 1 tweet.
If an infinite amount of cats, sent an infinite amount of tweets, we'd eventually announce Steve Lomas.

Seem to remember Mckirdy having a great run and cross that led to a goal when he played for Carlisle and I thought then he looked pretty decent. Haven't seen him at all since though!

I remember that game. He was so dangerous down the left hand side. I actually could not believe it when is was subbed off.

So, what with the Villa lad joining, where's Odimayo going to play? CB?
Based on how people are raving about this Villa lad at RWB, getting forward and not getting tired. RCB of a 3 works for me.

Definitely can see a back 5 being deployed: Woolacott Kaine. Odimayo Conroy. Baudry. Iandolo Grant. Lyden Payne. Simpson. Gladwin

That line up could do a job in league one with the right coaching. Let’s hope they gel and stay fit!
