The negativity stems from the fact that without those 7 wins in 7 at the start of the season we'd be about 16th in the league....

We're out of position given our form, and we're all desperate to stay there.

Holy fuck that sounds depressing.

But how have you figured that out? are you saying if we'd LOST our first six instead of winning them then we'd be 16th?
In which case it's a mute point.

Out of the first 6 games the only one you could argue we deserved to lose would be Hartelpool on opening day. Which would leave us one place lower than we are now I believe.

We aren't in a false position. That's the point of a league table. you can't get into a false position unless you have points docked, games in hand, or extra games played.

stockport were a poor team 9 games ago now they seem to be world beaters.they have growing confidence something a winning run gives you, as did us earlier in the season . we need to get back on track this saturday and hope a run for us follows,what i,ve seen of this league anything is possible but it would be easier with a real goal scorer.
