.....released from gaol, but has to wear an electronic tag. Apparently its up to the ref for tomorrow's game as to whether this is a hazard to other players so stopping him playing.
Having led a sheltered life I've no idea what one of these looks like, anybody able to coment on the prospects?

It's basically like a wristwatch except it fits on the ankle, it's pretty discreet. There was a clip of him training with it on and you could barely see it under his sock.

So he's going to be able to play then......shame it would have been well funny if he wasn't able to.

apparently there's a precedent with players in the football being allowed to play with them on, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Feel sorry for the lad, such a talent, but his attitude sometimes lets him down. Get his head down, play his football, and he'll achieve good, if not great, things.

To be fair as dave said, he did it to himself. I couldn't believe the family came out after and said the court had ruined his career, utter bollocks, he did it to himself.
Hopefully this will put him on the straight and narrow

That's just like saying the court ruined someone's life by sentencing them for murder!
Its exactly the same bloody thing.
If you can't do the time...

I seem to remember Gary Croft wearing one in a match against us while he was at Ipswich, the game was at Portman Road.
Jim Magiltan was playing too, so there were many cries of 'Taxi' throughout the game.
