Gareth Barry FTW.

OK, that was Tongue in cheek, but I would not be surprised to see him here as player/manager next season. (Assuming his Everton contract expires at the end of this season)

Hope Powell - be brave
She got binned off in quite spectacular fashion by England. Think it has transpired she was actually a bit shit!

Can't see that just yet. Roberto Martinez was raving about him at the weekend.

Did you miss his spell at Villa? £47m spent in the summer and look at them

I'd rather have Hart or Malpas back

But his lower league experience would be invaluable. Oh wait. Well at least people have heard of him..

But rather have Malpas or Hart? Sir, I fart in your general direction.

My guess its either Williams or Embleton or both as caretaker managers until the end of the season.

No. Why would it be ?

Because he's useless.  One of a long line of pathetic English managers (led by the utterly absurd Kevin Keegan) who've managed to convince gullible chairmen and supporters that mindless passion is a viable substitute for competence.

I'm fairly sure that Ian Holloway is out of the management racket and now enjoying the warm, loving embrace of full-time media work.

Did you miss the fact that he didn't sign any of the players he wanted to bring to Villa because he knew the current crop were nowhere near good enough? Did you miss the fact that the players brought in weren't signed by Sherwood? & are you missing the fact of the incredible job Remi Garde has done since Sherwood left?

Villa are probably worse now than they were under Sherwood. I still think he done a half decent job at Spurs if im honest. Villa is a tough job for any manager. Anyway i somehow doubt he will be in the frame. More likely to get a Championship job when one comes along.
