Whilst the chances of us getting Roy Keane are zero, he has been acting strange recently. He's got more and more relaxed, laid back and not caring since the start of the season and is now practically horizontal. Plus he's started talking about him not having long left there with recent results.
Sounds to me like he'll be leaving one way or another, but not for Swindon.

From Fitton's comments is 100% obvious who this "Gary McAllister" style manager will be. Jan Aage Fjortoft is coming to town!!!! With his carrier bag!! Whoa whooooooo!!!!!!
I can assure you if that happened then not only my socks, but all other items of clothing I was wearing would be blown off...I'd then round around the streets, naked, pretending to be an aeroplane.

Manuel Peixoto was in Woolworths in Swindon on Saturday. His Avenir Beggen side sit bottom of the Luxembourg league with 5 points and he would be ideal to take over. He is charasmatic and has silver hair! Doesn't speak very good English but bought the ex-pat supporters cans of Strongbow in the clubhouse after a match a few weeks ago so he is my hero!! Peixoto in!! Here is the legend himself on the left http://www.wichtelweb.net/eng/index.php?content=news&submenuid=2&showsubmenu=1They seem to have Rory Fallon playing for them...shirley he'd do well for them...

So, somebody explain to Sir Thicky (that's me by the way) why nobody here wants Ling when approximately 12 months ago we were (collectively) creaming our pants over him?

I think it is seen as he hasn't done anything since last year and that Orient seem to be around us in the table, so would he be that much better. Saying that though Orient's budget is a lot smaller and as such are expected to struggle every year and he has kept them up the last few years, personally if it was Ling I'd be dissapointed as I think there are better but would still get behind him though as he can probably do a decent job, but it may be a risk as he isn't experienced.

Ling has progressed Orient every season he has been there. He'e actually done a great job. He's probably taken them as far as he can now though. They were always going to struggle this season.
