John Ward was at the Walsall game, or was at least expected because I heard the one of the stewards going through his list of visitors, so it could have been him ruled out if AF meant that his meeting took place at the stadium.

I agree with Fred, I am prepared for another low key appointment followed by fans wingeing and complaining because we didnt get a big name again. Fitton said the Bookies aren't often wrong so John Ward it is then!

I had a dream last night where Sanchez was sat in a fire engine by the magic roundabout holding up a town shirt.

Sorry, nightmare. My socks would be firmly blown on.

All this 'big name' shite is seriously pissing me off.

Why would a 'big name' guarantee success?

Look at the teams recently promoted from League 1, I don't remember any 'big names'.

Appoint someone and get behind him, although a percentage of the fan base will no doubt be on their back from day one.............

So we've now got another game (At least) with Budgie in charge. The bloke has done ok since MM left but Fitton knows, we know and I'm sure even Byrne knows, he isn't the answer.

And that's the problem John. Too many Town fans are believing everything they hear and are going to be massively disappointed.

I don't give two fucks who AF appoints, I just want him to get a wriggle on!

Ruled out

Holloway - bad move sitting in the townend - ruled out
Ward - apparently met AF Saturday at Walsall - ruled out?
Ling - Manager tey can't approach - ruled out?
Calderwood - AF won't approach out of respect whilst still employed - ruled out?
Kinnear - at newcastle - ruled out
Poyet -  AF confirmed didn't apply - ruled out
Pearce -  AF confirmed didn't apply - ruled out

Which leaves amongst others Curbishley, Robson and Allerdyce none of whom have been denied by AF

Dowie? Hoddle? Pardew, Fitton had said another well known manager applied late Friday (presumable Pardew after he was sacked by Charlton?)

We have absolutely no idea who has been ruled out, ruled in, applied, been rejected, had an interview etc etc etc.

Just let AF get on with it and stop making up stories about who has been interviewed and got rid of as WE DONT FUCKING KNOW only AF and the board know for certain.

It's all rumour.

I've heard that an approach has been made to Gary Speed, I know the person that told me is genuine, but it still doesn't make it fact, just another rumour..........
