I remembered we had Craig Easton to thank, but I'd forgotten it was such a complete STFC infiltration job. Well done agents Easton, Alexander, Sabin... and the ref, apparently. As results stood through the division at that point Oxford were out of the bottom two - but three minutes later Easton equalised.
Turley seemed to have saved Easton's header after the midfielder met Wayne Corden's cross but the referee ruled that the ball had crossed the line.
Corden, who had earlier hit the side netting, was proving to be a real menace for the Oxford defence.
He forced a save from Turley and shot wide, while Sabin was played through for Oxford but shot wide from 18 yards.
But Turley could do nothing to prevent Alexander from putting Orient ahead.

Meanwhile back in London, the rain & wind have come. Light drizzle, moderate breeze, enough to ruffle a hipster beard or two should they venture out onto a balcony to watch the game.

Wasn't that on Boxing Day? Danny Wilson was appointed on the same day.. if so I was there that day also, i remember a lot of interaction from the travelling fans and the balconies of the flat that day. And the burgers were orrible..

Ended up about six miles from Saturdays triumph, so I won’t be going to East London tonight sadly.

Is tonight's game available on Ifollow for UK based fans ?
I know 3pm kick offs aren't allowed but not sure about evening games, partly due to remembering watching some last year, but was that lockdown related ?
