Well, we all asked for something different from Garner today.
We got it, it seemingly worked well.
Sure, Scunny are easily the poorest team in the division but at least today show Garner is open to change…

Crisis averted?

Probably not. It is the shittest team in the division and this kind of result (if Town are serious about contending) should be expected.

If Town have all but secured their L2 safety for 2021/22 then objective one is completed so can they now press on and give it a really damn good go for promotion? I don't care if they lose 2, 3 nil etc but as long as they head out each week playing expressive and free footy (may be wishful thinking). There is no reason now why they can't do so and give the home crowds something really entertaining to watch.

Special mention to Grant today. Surely he gets MoM. What a dude. Thankfully we got to give him a decent send off.

Adieu affectueux General!

Thought the attendance would have taken a hit after recent performances.

I do like the look of Aguiar.

Difficult to equate our performance when playing such a poor side as Scunthorpe - mind you, we’ve failed to beat other equally poor sides thus season.

Iandolo was terrific.

Iandolo MOTM, but Reed makes all of the difference for us.  Iandolo can't play in midfield like Iandolo did today without Reed in there.  Honourable mention for Aguiar for the second half display - showed he has enough in the locker to be an adequate backup for one of the midfield group.

Aguiar looked good, Barry improved as the game went on, but what a second half from Iandolo. Superb.

Far better 2nd half that, decent performance from pretty much all of the team.

We played quite well even though Scunny were quite frankly woeful you can only beat whats in front of you.

Iandolo and McKirdy both excellent, Jojo outstanding even tho he created one of the chances but did a double save to redeem himself.

Good day at the office for a change in front of a very good crowd.

I liked the formation and for a change we were taking risks around the box rather than just keeping possession which was a huge plus point.

Agree with this. Reed gave Aguiar and Iandolo the freedom to create.

Yep. Agree with that. Although I think Iandolo has been linking superbly on the left all year. He's just not that good defending. Better on the left side of midfield.
