Crawley have just parted company with their DoF/CEO....
His background was in stats for a football analytics firm and prior to that he previously spent a decade at Matthew Benham’s Smartodds, where he was responsible for research, analysis and the application of statistical models, while also working behind the scenes assisting Benham’s own football clubs — Brentford FC of the English Premier League and FC Midtjylland of the Danish Superliga — with coaching searches and player recruitment. Like Sandro it's all very much stats based but he at least has a bit of football background by the sounds of it. From what I have read it sounds like Crawley are totally changing tact and going for someone with a bit more 'proper' football experience. I wonder if Paul Jewell might end up there? |

Wonders? 23 out of possible 60 points isn’t wonders that’s pretty shit. He’s just lucky there were 2 teams that were more terrible than Crawley are. Same as our 20 points over the same period is piss poor as well. |
