Well deserved win. It was bordering on being easy at times.
2 points clear of second. 4 points clear of 4th. 11 points clear of 8th

Only team to have scored three today. Two points clear. Surprised that Muff slipped up at home to Cambridge.

FT 3-1 solid performance, very happy with that.
Grims offered less than I was expecting considering their recent form.
Wind Tunnel ☑ Plymouth best team in division ☑ Our wheels could fall off (see FVR) ☑ Exeter best of the rest ☑ Grimsby definitely PO contenders (see Salford too) ☑ It won't be easy ☑ Ess Tee Eff See. WARAWA.

Missed the first half as train got stuck at Kemble so got in the CG just in time for the first. We were much the better team from what I did see, Grimsby’s only threat was the high ball in the wind aimed for Hanson.
They showed exactly why we should ignore other teams form as we were a far better team than them

As usual I was in the pisser when we scored the first, then Grimsby fell apart for ten minutes, then we just saw it out. Comfortable.

Grimsby to be fair tried to play but they would always lose if it came down to out passing us, we chased down everything and won most of it, we created more chances than them, rarely looked threatened, we just always concede poor goals from set peices.
They never looked like they would put us under much pressure at the back and their defence had a lot of mistakes in them along with a pretty dodgy keeper too.
Very pleased as that could easily have been a banana skin if we didn't have the quality and confidence that we do.
A fair few of our players werent at their best today but nobody played particularly badly, we passed it round well and created a fair bit, Hollowhead needs more quality players at the back if he is to succeed there.
Very happy with the 3 points though and a decent crowd too in poor conditions.
Lets keep racking up these wins.

Agree with your pick of Doughty as MoM. He played further forward today, and was a constant danger.

Very pleasant win in not ideal conditions. Strange game in that all our beautifully created chances ended up hitting woodwork and all the scrappy nonsense ended up in the net, but they all count and it's another three points. Yates my motm but good performances all round. On we go

We were right about their keeper - right old flapper. Nowhere near the banana skin some were predicting.
3 more winnable games coming up - could be well clear of 4th by the end of them.

Really could've been 6-1 and not even at our best (again).

Don't think I've ever heard a BBC commentator use that term before. Excellent.

Somethings up with Grant. Straight down the tunnel at the end of the game, after taking his shirt off and throwing it into the crowd. He also didn’t celebrate any of our goals.
Hmmmm...be interesting to see if he Tweets later...normally does after we've won

well that was a good solid win.
beginning of the second half effectively ended a contest that we were the better team, but Grimsby always looked like they could do something (despite not really doing it).
REG had a good game deserving of his motm, followed by Yates for me.
special mention to the Grimsby keeper as I don't recall ever seeing a corner arise from a goal kick, ever. professional and Sunday League. Also a good flap at DJs header

Hmmmm...be interesting to see if he Tweets later...normally does after we've won Tbf, he could just have some family shit going on and needed to get in touch with/go see them asap. Don't think we really need to create a drama out of it. On another note, had Reg been in the Town squad we definitely would've scored 5 or 6
