The misses have been the most disappointing aspect so far.

Yeah we have lost 4 in a row on 4 occassions in L2/Div 4 IIRC so we would be record breakers, best start to a season and most consecutive defeats in the same season, bizarre.

I’ll be honest - I’ll gladly take a win (obviously) but I’d somewhat settle for a draw purely because sometimes it’s better just to stop the run of defeats at all costs even if that means sacrificing a winnable game for a more defensive approach

…but…most of all - I’d just like to see us try something a bit different today. A tweak in tactics, a change in formation, just a player doing a slightly different role - just something.

I get the competitive budget blah blah blah small squad blah blah blah but that does not mean we can only play one way with one formation. There is at least a degree of flexibility in this squad.

Oh I am sure they have a way bigger budget than we do but Hughes utterly wasted it in the Summer, gonna be difficult for Graham Alexander to rectify that outside of the transfer window.

Ironic that Alexander was sacked by a team whose most potent attacking threat is on loan to Swindon to then be hired by a completely different team whose most potent attacking threat is on loan at Swindon.
