Gave the ball away from a a goal kick. But their finishing is as good as ours!

Hawes just pointed out that Williams always has 3 players around him when we play out from the back.

Which means other players must be free to exploit the space!

Dale arent pressing us so high as they did at the start, they seem to be tiring a bit already.

We've never not been comfortable.  Davison sometimes a little isolated, but Payne looking lively from a little further back.  We're looking solid, but we're going to have to cut through.  Feels like a game where one goal could be enough.

Tomlinson with a really sloppy ball to them but he gets away with it.

we've actually played quite well, especially in the first 30..

but probably not quite creative enough. at 0-0 I'll be nervous.

I was just going to say that Tomlinson had been our player of the half, but the ball he gave away should have resulted in a goal for them.

We have been as we are every week. Slow building from the back playing pretty football from box to box.

At the back we have made 5-6 errors, which against a better team, would have resulted in us being 1 or 2 down.

Our attack has been mostly from long shots. But as has already been pointed out, the keeper looks good, as we keep shooting at him or close to him. To give him credit, he did make a good double save from a long shot and a Davison toe poke.

Interesting to see who tires first. A little bit of quality in the final third could win it for either team.
