But seriously, I can't see what else the Adver can really do at the moment, it's Summer, there are no games and we haven't signed anyone yet. Im more than happy to wait for news but The Adver have a nasty habit of rubbing up fans the wrong way with some of their stories, it's almost as if they look for a reaction from fans they can use as a story. Post by: Power to people on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, 18:44:02 The adver probably sell papers for their coverage of stfc matters, I expect there is an awful lot of people that read the back page before they read the front page and if there is no football news then they may not bother to buy the paper, so in a sense perhpas they need to have some football news however incidental.

Yeah that was pretty disgusting to take it out of context like that. All we got was a big "fans cause trouble" along with a photo of 50 or so town fans at a match, including your truly. Underneath was a small "not these fans" bit :) I was telling people to mug off and jog on for at least a week. |
