Payne so strong on the ball there under pressure.

I say it as I see it.  Wink

My point wasn't about playing badly, I mean it literally.  He is running everywhere - it will lead to some good stuff, but, it's his problem.  He will be shattered by half time and he's leaving the left side for them totally open at times.  He is playing like a number 10.

Well, there appears to be one team worse than us. Maybe Burton are a second, pending how their new signings settle. Just need two more...

More shots on target in this game than the previous two combined.

This season is starting to remind me when we were fighting relegation with Tony Thorpe and Jamie Cureton. Glimmers of hope only to be dashed right at the end. Haven’t we got Wigan away on the final game of the season?

They are an utter mess, it's helping us, that's for sure.

Their left wing back is in a red of space every time they go forward.

Wigan are somewhat coming back/growing into it. This is Town so proceed with caution. The key times tend to be at the beginning of a half or near the end. Switch off at 43mins...and Town can't defend corners well at all. Have given them 6 so far...

Cut out corner concedes and limit their set piece chances. Next 5mins are key. Must go in at HT with the lead and concentrate for the first 5mins of the 2nd half. Town then, may just sneak it.

The season where we sold our best attacker (Fallon) at the end of the window in January, you mean? 2005/6 under Iffy.

I think the difference is really that season we had a godawful squad and Iffy was trying his best. Not sure either are true this year...

AFC Wimbledon and I'd say Rochdale possibly. Think Northampton & Rovers will just about have enough. Plus they have 3 games in hand on us.

Tight as a Nun's chuff too!
