I was thinking the same thing. We've signed quite a few players over the years that were brilliant on loan and then crap after we signed them. However, you can see he has quality and I'm sure one day he'll play in the top flight.

I'm very happy with the signing but I won't be calling him our best signing in years (he has the potential) until he plays games as a permanent signing.
