He was quite obviously the player who infuriated Sturrock by refusing to listen to his instructions (remmember the dont play a first time pass interview?).
Sturrock isnt going to put up with a 19 year old who thinks he knows it all. Arrogance personified.
Sturrock even gave him a second chance, he started at Barnet. And he was subsitituted and Swindon were rubbish. His career at STFC was over from that moment.
He might well make it, but he probably wont, because he's not got the attitude. My heart bleeds that he cant get decent money because Town havent officially released him. Tough shit.

He never stood a chance under Sturrock because he is the total opposite of what he wants in a central midfielder. I think he'll mature into a decent Championship level player eventually, but it would be pointless wasting time here for both us and him when Sturrock is the manager.

Seems we are loseing out on a fee again doesnt it. No, I don't think so, the guy was told he wasn't wanted and was FREE to join another club. Sturrock just wants him off the wage bill, if we wanted a fee we would put him on the transfer list. Now he's been officially released we won't be paying after 1st July. The guy has talent but something seriously wrong somewhere, he has now been shown the door at two clubs, are they both wrong?
