I don't think Wilson has been given just 1 game but chances are he has been told in no uncertain terms there has to be an upturn in results otherwise he will pay the ultimate price, although saying that if we get battered tomorrow then that may bring decisions forward

They're going to kill him? Christ, that seems a bit harsh - whatever happened to "departed by mutual consent"?

Need to show our next manager that failure isn't an option.

Rightly or wrongly the Board have made their decision and I suspect they will definitely stick by it.
What we need now is the manager and players to pull their fingers out and the fans to get behind the team. Constant speculation about Danny’s future will not do any good, we are in the shit and we all need to get behind the team. Negativity towards the team isn’t going to get us out of this mess, support and encourage might just help in a little way.

A four hour meeting/bollocking with Mr Wray probably wasn't much fun. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for that! I guess it was an opportunity for the Board to demonstrate that they have given Danny every opportunity to sort things out. That said, it seems a very formal thing to do so maybe the Board have one eye on avoiding any employment tribunal /payoff if they do sack him?

Good shout. Public guillotining of failed managers is the way forward. And pitchside floggings instead of this namby-pamby two weeks wages fine for breaches of club discipline. It may not do much for morale but in "bums on seats" terms, it'd bring the crowds flocking back

And you know this how? If it's what you think, fine. But don't write it as though it's fact.

its not just my interpretation there are alot of people who think it. Im guessing you still think dw is man to get us out of this mess? He has had enough time to turn this around and so far hasnt, our current form is relegation form and we have less games to play than the teams around us also add to that dw is tactically inept.
