What Sutton said. It sounds stupid, but the fact he had longer legs than most gives him the illusion of looking slower than he is

Maybe slow to get back might be a better description. Maybe he can get forward a bit swift but he doesn't seem to be quick on the way back. Languid maybe. Like A very much less skilful chris waddle.

Probably for the best that he isn't too interested in the defensive half for all concerned Wink

Fair point.  We dont really do defence at the moment.

Gladwin

Pros: Can pick a pass. Can strike a shot. Can take players on. Can drive a team forwards.
Cons: Doesn't chase back, poor work rate off ball, can't tackle, shrinks when he tries to head the ball.

If he can address his work rate/defensive side of his game he'll got further. If not he'll be back in league 1.

Thus endeth the dissection.

I don't give a fuck who he plays for....he's left! He's gone.....

I'm more interested in who's coming in.

So far we have a chap on loan from QPR for a month that instantly became 3 weeks because the poor fucker got sick....that's it... Maybe that will be it as we stumble through this season to safety.

Looks like it will be leaving it to the last minute again....I'm guessing we'd have got Gladwin back if nobody else was interested, and the same will probably apply with Louis, Jack Stephens coming in, and Kasim, Michael Smith and Ajose going out.

Alternatively, if he finds a manager who plays him in a position with less/no defensive responsibilities, and a fan base that doesn't equate being good with running around then he could go on to have a good career at a decent level

He's gone to the wrong club for tolerant supporters then as they are hoping Gladwin will replace Freeman as their creative midfielder.

I'm surprised Freeman has bombed at that level thus far, looks like he's just a very good L1 player.

The point about expectancy is valid. They won't give him much time so he hits to hit the ground running.

Some want freeman out on loan to gain confidence. Maybe we could make a sneaky bid :-)

Gladwin has come a long way in a short time. Who knows how far he can go ? Personally I think league 1 is probably his level but that's just my guess. Maybe he could shine in a progressive championship side ?(not convinced shitty are that at all mind)
If he can cut out the over doing it on the ball and recovers better when possession is lost then he could push on. He has ability undoubtedly.

Kaid Mohamed scored for Eastleigh last night against Bolton. He's still rapid.

I went to saw Portsmouth v Ipswich last night. Gary Roberts had a great game and show his class/experience. Giles Coke came on for Ipswich.
