Chris Kamara is in the Old Bank, Old Town.  My son has just had a pint with him.

Lot of water under the bridge since Kammy used to drink in the Bell and Vadims with the likes of David Moss, Kenny Stroud and Ray McHale. Top man though...

Jed McCrory, former owner of Swindon Town, was negotiating the purchase of Barnsley for £ 5M. An agreement, however, does not seem imminent

Where the fuck would he get hold of 5 mill

Again not an ex player but Gary Rose tweeted pics of him leading an interview with Di Canio for Football Focus tomorrow. Might be interesting.

A Mohamed El-Gabas hat-trick with AC Arles-Avignon has the Egyptian trialist on the verge of a Ligue 2 switch.
Mohamed ‘Dodo’ El-Gabas made a great impression on his first appearance during his trial with French side Arles-Avignon, after he scored three goals in a 3-2 friendly win against US Marignane.
The 26-year-old Egyptian winger is looking for new club after he ended a short period with League One side Swindon Town, who he played for during the last six months.

League 2 ??

Parents in law.  They lived in Old Walcot and then Walcot last I heard.  He used to own a double glazing firm here back in the day.

A young Kammy would ease into our side today...

Skill and the boot when needed.

and those sliding tackles Smiley

Like a lot of players of that type, you do wonder how they would have adapted to today's No Tackling Leagues though

Kammy was the best tackling midfielder I have ever seen, certainly at Swindon, possibly anywhere.

He hardly ever mistimed a tackle.
