If anything, it suggests that Clarke did it so that he could leave the club.

What it does confirm is that Clarke is an utter cock. Glad we won't be seeing him pull on the Town shirt anytime soon....hopefully never again.

Smokescreen?

Partly but QPR fans reckon that's just the sort of thing Leon Clarke would do as they thought he was lazy & work shy

Bogus Dave - Di Canio didn't know Clarke wanted out untill after the match. Have to wonder why PDC wasn't told the minute he wanted to leave.

But we'll probably still keep paying his wages.....no manager in his right mind, would go near him if these stories are true.

Yes, he could be the first manager to actually make a player rot without playing (and good on him)

But what the fuck is going on for a player to want to leave so soon? It doesn't matter what you think of the player, it's pretty weird.

I have a feeling that Clarke was playing the Billy big bollocks game.

He thought he could turn up at a Div 4 team, stroll around, take it easy & score a shed load of goals.
The reality was that the management team expected him to work as hard as everyone else, and he didn't like it.
