Things can only get better

I wish all this negativity would stop. The bloke hasn't even arrived in Swindon yet and people are writing him off.

Jeremy Wray and Nick Watkins are no mugs. They wouldn't appoint someone (and pay them a huge salary) unless they saw something they liked.

Di Canio as a player was unbelievably skillful, hot headed and passionate. But also, when did you see him dive ? Hardly ever. He was a true sportsman.

This appointment is the best thing to happen to the club since Hoddle in my view. Lets get right behind Paolo because I have a good feeling about this.

Agreed.

I'm sure the players from the lower leagues in Italy will certainly be technically more adept than players from the lower leagues here. Still, maybe a good idea to cross that bridge when we come to it, saves worrying about it now

I was wondering whether his mate Arry might help him out. Its pretty well known Arry does scout the leagues as well as any manager in the UK.

I only ever did that once - the day after we won at Wembley in 1993.  Wore it for pretty much the whole day and the most severe reaction I got was a scowl from one bloke as I walked out of a shop.  Fact is...most folk in Oxford (or anywhere else) don't care that much about the local side and care even less about another one from 30 miles up the road.  We exaggerate the scale of the rivalry at times.
