I say we concentrate on the FA cup this year.

We're as good as down now, we don't look like scoring and we can't keep hold of leads. We also have no luck whatsoever.

I personally think we'll struggle with our next fixtures 'playing 'top' teams. Think its way too early to say we'll go down.

I think we should stop being so, "the glass is half empty."  Theres two ways to look at almost every game we've had this season.  The first half and the second half being almost totally different.
One day we'll win and then our confidence will be high again.

One day. WHEN?! We are the worst team in the league.

I don't think theres alot in it to be honest, like ed said on the radio.Portvale are pretty much up there, but they are not a great team.I would say average. We were ace in the first half, they could not touch us.I think the major thing we are missing here is confidence.confidence is everything. We could get releagted,we might not.Who knows, its too early.

Think its too early to say we're going down. Im not feeling very positive right now but there's no way Im giving up hope. I'll continue to follow Swindon in league 2. (If we do get relegated that is.)

The Swansea game we could get a battering. They seem to score 3 every game, and they haven't played us yet.

Yeovil were bottom a few games ago, they are 8th now so there is still hope.

TBH if we go down i dont think there will be an STFC next year. i dont think we could cope financially

i think there has been an improvement under Iffy and we cant lose forever no team does. we will improve and i think we will at least be in with a fighting chance of staying up

I desperately hope we do improve as I don't wanna have to play teams like Rochdale next season (no disrespect to them). It will be the lowest division we've been in since I've been alive.

We're not relegated yet..... lets hope a bit of luck goes our way. Don't lose hope yet, there's still a long way to go.

Haven't seen enough of Swindon this season for a proper comment.

but......... from what I saw today, I don't feel we have enough quality in the side, and I can't see anyone from Fallon getting many goals at all.

It is going to be a long hard season, and we need to get some wins soon or the gap will get bigger and bigger and confidence lower and lower.

Div 4 looms (and I thought after 1986 I woud never see Swindon in that league again).

Its not so bad, but the only time we've been there, we had reasonably competitive sides.....don't think it will be the case this time.

If we can pay the CVA. (doubtful), then prepare for possible Conference football.

I dont think we are actually too bad we are just unlucky, look at how many games we have lost by 1 goal. We could easily be sitting in mid table.

We've scored first now in the last three games and have lost.  If we were going to stand any chance of staying up  we should have at least ground out a draw at MK and a 1-0 win yesterday.

If we could go straight back up that would be fine but I can see us going straight through to t'Conference.

Of last season's relegated sides from div 3, Wrexham are the highest placed in 13th then Peterborough in 18th, Torquay in 20th and Stockport in 21st.

Very very sad.

FACT

You make a good point OST.....last season Wrexham weren't really a relegation side but only went because of the admin.

Now is the time to see a shake up in the Boardroom.....there has to be some accountancy for the currrent mess.....

its always possible! with our finances its going to be hard to mount a promotion challenge next year in League 2 IF we are relegated. just look at Bristol Rovers ever since they went down. they have escaped the drop to the conference on two occasions and have yet to mount a promotion challenge and this is a team with an 8000 average attendance what hope is there for us with 4000?

It's not bad luck, we don't have a clue at the moment. Too many silly mistakes, stop playing at 1-0 up, no real quality and only 1 goal scorer.

Yeah but then King was manager, sadly no longer so the top half looks a hell of a long way away.

I can't believe you actually believe that, King looked incompetent that season, and financially we were a mess (more of a mess!).

No we weren't we've been in a financial mess for years but it's gradually got worse, 2003/2004 briefly made things look a bit better but we are much worse off now than in 2002/2003. That year we finished 10th so hardly incompetent given the problems we had is it.

By my maths we were 4 points better of then at the same stage and only a point below the drop zone line.....there were already a couple of sides Mansfield and Cheltnum who were shaping up for the drop.

everyone cheer up.  we've not got battered yet, we just keep losing by one unlucky goal.  All we need is one more chance taken or one less loss of concentration (I'm looking at you, Jerel) and we've won a game.  Just you wait.

no way.  We've got o'hanlon, we've got fallon, etc.  my point is that we've got good players and if we just concentrate for 90 mins and get a bit of luck there's no reason why we can't score against or defend against most teams in this league

Actually there is a reason.....we've got crap players in most positions, and  they'll be gone in Jan or at least May....so don't care too much.
