Title: Washbag Blog - STFC fan's most hated player / staff poll Post by: the washbag on Friday, April 22, 2011, 10:43:27 Hi, I'm running various polls over on The Washbag Blog to assist my Swindon Town data research for FOOTBALL MANAGER.
As part of the final review for FM2011 I’ll be updating all of the Swindon Town data. Not only will this exercise require me to make all the Swindon players crap ;) I’ll be going over all of the existing data to make sure its current. So I thought I’d open up a few of the research items to Washbag reader’s comment or suggestions. First off…who are the fan’s most hated staff (playing or non-playing) who are still in football? I’ve got my own ideas of the most despised players in the eyes of the Swindon Town faithful, however to help me rate the most hated at The County Ground I’d appreciate your views. You’ve got 3 votes. You can vote for one of my suggestions or suggest one of your own. Like I said I've got my own ideas on a ranking of the most hated and thought I'd give the opportunity to gauge opinion through a meaningless poll. I've checked wikipedia and my FM data, however John McGinley isn't listed as still involved in football anywhere.

Most hated former Town player : Joey Beauchamp Most hated Town manager : Steve McMahon (hated) Colin Todd (most useless), Hoddle/Wise/Sturrock (intense hatred ethereal in nature, all walked out at the wrong time - I'm over it now:)) Most hated Town General manager /non director : Mike Diamandis Most hated Town director : Bob Holt Most hated commentator : Vic Morgan. He seems a nice enough chap, I don't hate him, but I have no clue as to what is happening whenever the ball gets near the goal. I am only basing this on a choice of BBC RS commentators - Hadwin, Hodgetts and Morgan. If we are talking non-Swindon related then there are too many to contemplate. |
