I've found the link for the rapidshare files. It's much faster than torrents. I'm getting 170kb/sec compared to 24kb/sec.

Yeah the same problem I had.

In the end I just switched my router off and on again to renew my IP after each download. If you don't have a router then go to start>run then type "cmd" (without the quotes)

then "ipconfig /release"

then "ipconfig/renew"

I'm upping it now but it will take 3 hours, so I think I will abort that  :|

Also, it's worth going to about the tenth page of results on Google. Chances are most that come up on the first page are used regularly therefore Rapidshare will have clocked the IP's.

Thats right, when you click one part of the .rar files you've dowloaded you'll see the whole thing as if it's packaged back together.

There's a few ways you can install it, I downloaded a program called MagicISO which allows you to browse .bin files. Just open MagicISO, browse for the .bin file and run the installation.

Alternatively, use Nero or other burning software and find the option that says 'burn image'. You'll then need to select the .cue file which will cause the .bin file to be burnt onto the CD. Once it's done, just install it as if you'd bought it on CD.

Finally, in either of the two cases above, in the Razor1911 folder is the no-cd crack. Just go to C>Program Files>Sports Interactive> Football Manager 2007 and replace the fm.exe file with the one in the Razor 1911 folder.

No, but I was getting a lot of red cards at the start of the season, but that seems to have calmed down a bit now.

I've noticed it. Tends to be from set plays with the men on the posts heading into their own goal.

It's probably just SI making the game more realistic i.e. you have to put good headers of the ball on the posts.

My players are always seem to be moaning. What do they want? A party when we lose 3-0.
Also Vincent keeps missing training. So I give him a warning and he starts spouting out its unfair.

i've started a new game as swindon without wise/poyet, any tips?

i'm thinking of a straightforward 4-4-2 with quick tempo, direct passing and closing down and tweaking this slightly for away games, perhaps more direct but a bit slower tempo. my only concern is that my players probably aren't fit enough or have high enough stamina for the quick tempo and closing down.

You'd have thought so, but thats as good as what i'm playing at the moment, only with a diamond formation. And that's with Jess and Ainsworth in midfield, both the wrong side of 30!

Finally got my copy over from Blighty - hurrah! Dowloaded sonic's face pack, and have to say we have a right bunch of ugly buggers - works a treat though.

Not got too far just now, but I did download an interim database update known as Weegie - this moves Judas Wise, Poyet and Beasley off to Leeds and corrects the problem with Phil Smith's wages without needing to fiddle with the editor yourself. PM me if you want the link to the download.

Put them in the Flexion Graphics folder. You need to make sure that background changes is ticked and that the skin cache isn't (preferences)

You might need to reload the skin (in the preferences page) and that should work.

If your FM7 directory is saved in lets say My Documents then create a graphics folder inside the FM7 folder and then extract everything i.e facepacks,logo's etc into that graphics folder.

Edited out Paul Smiths sensible wages, put Wise, Poyet and Ince at their rightful teams and started with swindon again. Mid table after about 15 games. Went on a run of good results, then lost 3 on the trot including away at macclesfield who were second from bottom. Then went and beat torquay at home who were 4th before loosing 3-0 away at Bury who are propping up the table. Proper shit.

Also signed Elton de Costa, central midfielder from Augsborg in germany. he is su-fucking-perb. also got Alex Rhodes on a free.

upfront, peacock is scoring for fun, jutkiewicz is too, caton is chipping in as well. roberts is poo, so is brownlie.

after 15 games in league one i'm sitting top by 2 points, but played a game more.

It jus happened again. two of my players just got sent off at different points in the game, one for a right hook and one for a left! mental. its getting old now though.

Happened to me on FM 2006. I was Boca playing River plate. Won the game 2-0. Had 2 players sent off and river had one sent off for having a fight.

Finished my 2nd season at the CG in a disappointing 13th, after flirting with the play-offs for most of the season, then falling away over the last 10 games. Did well in the League and FA Cups, getting knocked out by West Ham and Arsenal respectively, which earned me a nice wedge.

Summer re-shuffle has seen Adi Williams, Andy Gurney, Paul Evans, Richard Witschge and Jermaine Wright move on. Signings include Paul Ifill, Jonas Kolkka, Darren Currie and Jake Smeeton :o

Well in FM06 I got swindon to the premiership in 4 seasons, went back down then back up, got to the UEFA cup final, had some ace players (Kolo Toure, Vaz Te, Montolivio, Darryl Knights) and then the save game corrupted.

It was the most devastating moment of my adult life (yes i've had it pretty easy), and I couldn't be arsed with the lower league struggle this time.

I'm not very good at fm2007. First fm I've played I'm used to 5 year old cm's. Sure I'll get the hang of it soon.

Tip, if you have a 25 - 30+ player on high wages. Then keep offering him lower contracts with high playing bonus. Eventually it gets down to £100, £200 and he'll accept nearly anything with no playing bonus.

Ive spent the past 8 hours on this today, yes i have had a day of from work so i decided to play FM07 all day.

Ive played near a whole season today, started mid table, went on a 22 game unbeaten streak till about mid jan/feb which put me in 1st only 7 point clear, have been a bit on and off form since, with only 6 games left im still top but the results havent been so great.

Should gain promotion, but i am not happy with the board, they are not giving me a transfer budget and they are loweing my wage budget. fuckers.

Flew through preseason, managed a win against Blackburn Reserves. Pook keeps crashing goals in from 25+ yards and has an average of 8.

Got Villa as a parent club. I'm hoping they send me Juan Pablo Angel for the rest of the season because none of my strikers except Roberts have scored.

Only played one league game so far, beat Chester 1-0. Drawn Cardiff away in the league cup, should be interesting.

evans was my top goal scorer at one point, loades of my Midfeild have been scoring, evans has been poping in 30yrd-ers for fun.

Peacock finaly got his scoring boots on and managed a few hat-tricks.

Pook got League player of the season  :shock:  He had the best adverage in the League. I didn't start playing him since October.

I manage to get Toumani Diagouraga for a season loan from Watford. And when I lost 7 out of my first 15 games, I put him and Pook in the centre. Dropped Wise, Ince, Evans and I manage to get onto a 22 match unbeaten run.

Finished 2nd, 3pts behind Hartlepool. I seem to find that younger players win me more matches.

Had to get a new keeper in, im stil trying to look for a decent one, at the moment i have federici in, he's ok, but inexperienced, tried to get donovan rickets but bradford woudnt let me have him

Signed a couple of Slovacks a ST Pavol Suhoj and AM Licka, not bad, havent had the chance to play em properly yet.

Opening game of league 1 was an epic battle against oldham, went 2-0 up at Half time, they equalised early on in the 2nd half, then got a third in the 85 min, managed to pull one back to 3-3 in the 91's min but a gurney slip up got them a 4th in the 94th min.

I will continue tomorrow.

Any recomended keepers? i have 30,000 to spend.

flammableben's sexy high tempo direct diamond formation. Start of January and I'm top of the league by 3 points with a game in hand. Just went out in the 3rd round of the FA Cup 1-0 at home to Everton. I bet I fuck it up towards the end of the season when my players get injured and tired.

Paul evans has been ace as the DM. Even got a game in for wales. Sort of been key to my game. Classic chasing everyone down whilst still playing the ball out. I'll probably have to replace him with someone younger soon. Got cover with some youngster from Bristol City on loan. Haven't had to play him yet (apart from LDV, league cup) but might put in a bid for him permanently as he looks pretty solid from what I've seen.

Only permanent signing has been that teemu bloke who is pretty ace although he does have quiet patches. Got people in on loan, mainly for cover around midfield and gk.

Aaron brown started the season ace but is out for 3-5 months so I've been playing playing loanee's or Whally on the left. I tend to play more through the AMC so don't need an out and out winger hence Weston on the right instead of Shakes. Although Weston is a moaning little shit. You put any preasure on the team and he starts to cry. Had Holgate and Wells retraining for the right hand side for cover. Wells is a quicker learner although Holgate is still a better player.

Up front has been a combination of whoever's fit. Peacock has the most - 13 in 29, Bronlie has 6 in 13 - with 4 subs as well,  but has been playing in the AMC role when there's no one fit. Lucas Justcutit has 5 in 12(5). Christian Roberts has got 3 in 4(3), I transfer listed him at the start of the season then I ran out of strikers and had to play him and he did ok. Then he got injured again. Andy Caton played 9 without scoring so I loaned him out to Aldershot.

Things have got bad upfront though, against Everton I had to play Jake Hyde. Jutciewitcz should be back soon but to be honest I don't think he's going to get much better. He went through an ace patch but he's pretty average.

Defenders have been pretty solid. Vincent Nicholas Ifil Gurney (left to right). Ifils on a good solid run as was Nicholas until he suddenly had 3 games when his moral got reaaly low got a 5 then in the next game he was on a 4 rating and kept letting people past him so I had to sub him off after half an hour. Seems to have recovered now. Maybe Gurney was doing his wife.

And there goes the interesting of Ben's first good half a season. I wonder what wonders will happen next? The adventure continues....

Got promotion first season on the last day with a 3-0 win over Bristol Rovers and a lot of thanks to Chester for holding Stockport to a draw and us pinching the third spot.  

Currently midtable with the board very happy as I'm operating 6k under their wage budget and us making a nice profit each month.

Just had a disastrous few weeks, mid-week game before I was due to face Arsenal at home in the FA Cup 4th round, Ifil and Nicholas pick up yellow cards and get suspended and Brighton kick lumps out of us and I lose Roberts, Paul Smith and Weston to injury in the same game.

Sat around 12th in League 1 now after losing 4 on the trot as my current keeper couldn't catch a cold and the loan keeper Villa sent me broke his arm so went back for treatment.  Smith is back in training so should be fine soon.

Playing 4-3-1-2 at the mo with Nicholas and Smith flying down the wings.  Weston is currently my star man sat in the centre of midfield with Evans and Green on loan from Villa.  Up front is Roberts and Daryl Murphy picked up on a freebie with Spanish star Iben Espedas sat behind them - instant hero with a debut brace against Bristol City opening day of the season.

Will see how the rest of the season goes but look safe enough to avoid any relegation battle this year and can start clearing some deadwood out to build for a push next season.

start of january and i'm 7th, won 12, drawn 6, lost 8 but still the best defensive record in the league.

just got knocked out of the fa cup 3rd round by col u, lost 5-0.

my away form is shit.

lukas has scored 6 in 13 games but i need a really prolific goalscorer and can't find one. craddock has been shit since signing permenantly and peacock hasn't scored since november.

It almost all went wrong for me too.  Suffered from a load of injuries, at one point had 10 first teamers out with some knock or other.  My tactics might also have had something to do with it.

Only had 1 win in 15 games and slipped from a comfortable 12th to 20th but managed to win at Huddersfield on last day of the season to stay up - phew !!!

Noone wanted any of my players when offered out so had to let their contracts expire.  Have tied up a few new signings to replace them.

Struggling for a prolific scorer too, am putting my hopes on new capture Stuart Elliott being able to find the net.  Failing that I could resort to sticking a centre back up front and hope for the best !!!!

just got to xmas in my Juventus demo... Top of the league despite starting on minus17 points thanks to only dropping 4 points so far! :mrgreen:

Huddersfield usually get rid of both Pawel Abbott and Gary Taylor-Fletcher for next to nothing.

Hibs (if you have the Scottish Leagues on) have a player called Konte, who is good with running onto long balls over the top.

I have a feeling im getting sacked, 6 games into my league 1 campaign after becoming league 2 champs and im yet to win a game,

i can score goals but like in real life i can never keep my lead, due to not haveing much to spend in the pre season transfer i have had toruble finding a keeper and decent defence, cock and craddok are scoring both 5 in 6 with evans with a few but when i score i go defensive with 5 back but they still seem to get through and score.

£100,000 down this season so clubs in debt by about £5000, Below wage budget by a fair bit and will be by more when a few players fuck off when their contracts run out.

When starting a new game it's worth going into the editor and fixing our attendances. It has us down as having a 4,500 average for some reason when it should be about 6,500 - 7,000. Might be why some of you are having money troubles.

I also put in that we pay £120,000 a year in rent.

I'm majorly fucked off. Jack Smith got injured so I called in Gurney as cover. He got injured in the next match so put Gary Pryde in from the reserves, twat got sent off after 20 mins and I went on to lose.

Next game I've got no Smith, Gurney or Pryde so I had to play Scott Doe. He got sent off after 30 mins. Fucker.

Next game Smith was back luckily, but Nicho gets sent off after 10 mins for two bookables.

Is it me or are the refs complete cunts in this game, I keep getting 7/8 yellow cards a game (including the opposition) but my tackling is only set on normal.

What kind of tactics are you using for your full backs? Seems a bit logical that this is the reason they're getting sent off.

I just won the Johnstones Paint Trophy. 8)  Came back from 2-0 down at half time to beat Tranmere 3-2, with the winner coming in the 86th minute.

Seven points clear at the top of league two, looking good to win the title with only 7 games to go. Just signed a new contract as Swindon manager and they will only give me a wage budget of 19k and transfer budget of £36k despite the club having over £1m in the bank.

This Teemu Turunun is superb, bargain at 20k. Need a decent goalie for next term, cheap wages and preferably less than 10k. I've used Phil Smith in every game this season and he is solid enough but I'm not confident he'll be capable of this sort of form in league one. Any ideas?

I got Trevor Carson in from Sunderland. £2000 I think. Seems solid enough but he's only 19. Might get in an older keeper aswell.

I'm very very angry currently.  My team  (not edited apart from getting rid of Wise, Poyet, & ince and putting P Smiths wages down to £650)  is so fucking inconsistant its unbelievable.  When I turned it off on Sat afternoon before the real game, I was 9th just before christmas, although the league is really tight and I'm only 6 points off top.

I lost 3-1 away at stockport, having been 3-0 down at half time. I went apeshit at the players because they were shit and clearly deserved to lose.

Jamie Vincent came out after the game and commented that he didnt like my management style and that somehow deservedly losing 3-1 to fucking stockport was acceptable.

So i fined the cunt 2 weeks wages and transfer listed him for daring to question my authoitaaaah. Now the whole squad is unhappy with me. I get the feeling I might get sacked before the end of the season unless I can "do a romanov" and get rid of those who defy me and replace them with more talented versions with fewer opinions. the cunts.

I hate not doing well on FM. I won the bastard champions league with STFC on 06 for fucks sake. It would seem my slightly totalitarian management style is perhaps less suited to 07.

Sounds like my current season.  Started off well and was unbeaten in seven with five clean sheets.

Suddenly have been unable to get any sort of run going, unless you count consectutive defeats.

Cup wise I'm doing ok, got knocked out of league cup by Man City in the third round and in the semis for the Paint Pot thingy and 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Need to review my tactics as looks like another relegation battle is looming and the only bright note was getting Super Sam back as he was rotting away in Luton's reserves.

He did bag a hat-trick in one match and is currently my leading scorer with a massive 8 goals.  Town fans are fearing the worst as we slip down the league and are just outside the relegation line.

If only I could snap up some decent players instead of these 33 year olds that the Spanish clubs keep trying to offload on me.

I will need to sign another keeper aswell as Carson as he get's called up to N.ireland.

started loads of new games but only finished a whole season with swindon and real and lost interest soon after.

usually i get majorly hooked, it's not due to loads of bugs (i've not noticed any) or any of the new features, it's just not grabbed me yet.

Same as you, Sonic. On my 8th restart of the game basically because I'm finding it too bloody difficult.

I either seem to get a game that starts well and goes horribly wrong or one that goes horribly wrong, recovers for a bit, then goes horribly wrong again.

I haven't a fucking clue how you lot have got to the play-offs or even promoted.

I've been playing this for years and I'm getting pretty hacked off with this version.

I must be doing something wrong as well.  Got promotion in first season but have spent the next struggling in league one and only just staying up.

Am doing slightly better this time have finally got a decent run going and gone from 18th up to 13th and into the Tin Pot Final.  

Still annoyed with the board as I want an extra 1K for a transfer but they won't budge and give me that.  

Not going to start again as I've got rid of a few players and managed to get a few slightly better ones in.  Missed out on this Teemu bloke and he is now at Reading so won't get him.  

Have brought my wage budget down a bit by getting the players I want to keep to sign longer contracts for less money - the fools !!!

Will see how the end of the season goes and the next one as although I'm doing what the board want and keep us up I'm not in the frame for any jobs that are on offer.

My first 3 attempts (2 with Swindon, 1 with Exeter) were disasters. This one's I've done immense with.  Might be down to my ace diamond formation which allows you to cover the defence with a high closing down, tight marking Paul Evans (until I replaced him with Richard Keough from Bristol City).

Also I've been less harsh with my team talks and made an effort to keep morale high which seems to help a bit.

I have found getting out of bad run's a bit difficult. Not sure if it's the other teams getting used to your main tactics or just the players deciding their shit. But changing around a few players and maybe playing more direct to a target man, or less direct through a playmaker seems to get it back on track

Don't really know though. I couldn't get into to the last one, but am enjoying this one.

I've still not had the balls to play and face up to my squad revolt. I'll leave that til i've had a  :doobie:  on friday night and I'm a bit calmer  :)

Agree with Chris K as well, this version does seem hard and I'm normally very good at FM. I started well then went shit too.

I'm playing the diamond like Ben but I'm having an utterly inconsistent season. I'm 4th at the moment but guarantee I'll be down to about 10th in a few days.

Maybe I need to use Ben's tactic of using Evans with tight marking and high closing down. My forwards don't score nearly enough goals, Peacock's on five along with big Duncan Ferguson and the midfielders have chipped in a few.

Recently changed to 5-3-2 with the two wing backs pushing forward and results picked up.  Nicholas is weighing in nicely with a load of assists although all my scouts and assistants don't rate him at all.  Evo does a great job sat in front of the defence but will need to replace him soon as he is not getting any younger.

Haven't had the team come out and be too crictical of my management style yet, maybe I'm too soft on them and need to moan a lot more when we lose.  Have only had a go at them once and that was the last game I played last night when we were losing at half time to bottom of the table Hudersfield.  Scraped a 3-2 win so will see how morale is later.

Have put a load of the transfer list as they aren't in my plans at all but can raise any interest for them so they will just end up going on freebies.  The only decent bit of business I've done was selling Peacock for 250K at the end of my first year as I couldn't turn it down.  Of course with the board I was only allowed about 50 quid of that deal to spend on a replacement.

Just going into season 3. Got in Collins Mbesuma, Francis Jeffers and Paul Ifill in when there contracts were running out at there former clubs. Just offloaded Evans (old, been injured), Vincent (Old) and Ifil (not good enough anymore). I'll get rid of Nicholas as soon as I've got any left back cover and Pook and Bronlie as soon as anybody's stupid enough to take them.

Apart from Lee Peacock - who I'll keep for cover and Holgate - who I'll give another season on loan as he seems to be improving. The only other remaining original players I have left - Callum Kenedy, Comyn-Platt, Ben Wells, Aaron Brown (need more cover on the left mid so might keep hold of him), Ricky Shakes, Tom Ahmed, Jake Hyde and Jutkiewicz will all be off soon enough I'd imagine.

Still got £4-5 thousand left of wage budget and £240 thousand transfer budget to spend.

Need a decent Left Back and cover for AMC ML and DM. I'm tempted to play the random unscouted scandanavian youngsters game. Not gonna cost more than £20k and there wages are low.

i cracked on with my stfc game for a bit earlier, i'd given up because i lost my first 2 games in league one. i hate losing.

6 games in and i'm 18th with 1 win, 3 draws and 2 losses. not too bad really.

i managed to get super sam back on a free transfer, i kept admiring him in the press and luton offered him to me for nowt! only scored 2 in 7 though but my team is shocking at goalscoring, we've only scored 6 in 6.

i had a mini-clearout in the summer, got rid of monky, fola, townsley, caton and a few youngsters

I offered 4 week trials to about 50 players, hoping for about 50% success rate...which I got. So now I have about 20-25 players in on trial but the squad are away on holiday so I can't see them play. :doh:

Managed to sign Tom Heaton for £20k, without really meaning to which means all but £900 of my transfer budget is gone and I'm already over my wage budget. Somebody is going to have to go...

Grrrr I'm getting annoyed now.  My board will only give me 70K to spend and about 45K on wages.

Had to release a load of people over the summer and bring in some more free transfers.

Just finished my 3rd season (2008/09) with Swindon. Had an awesome start which had me riding high at the top after 10 games, but then went on a horrible run of 8 games without a win. Managed to make the inspired signings of Antoine Sibierski and Lee Sawyer in January, which got us back on track in the New Year. We won our final 4 games of the regular seaon to finish up 5th, and move on to the playoffs.

Played QPR, who had finished 4th, over two legs, had an awful start by losing the home leg 1-0. But i was still pretty confident, as our away form all season had been good. I was in for a major shock, though, as my team proceeded to thrash 'Gers 5-0 at Loftus Road :o Coventry beat Bristol Shitty to make it to the P/O final, as we walked the Wembley way again 8)

Played a 4-2-2-1-1 for this game, abit different to my usual 4-4-2 diamond formation. It didn't work first half, as Kevin Kyle scored to give them a 1-0 halftime lead. Switched back to 4-4-2 for the second half, but Coventry continued to have the upper-hand. With 25 mins left, i switched to 3 up top, Peacock, Younghusband and Sibierski. The move paid off, big time, as Lee P equalised with 8 minutes left, before Sibs found a stoppage time winner 8)

Would a laptop with 256 mb Ram, 40 gb hardrve upto 550 rpm (?) and a via c7-5 processor (?????) be good enough for this game to work on?

hmmm, yes and no, as stated on the box for prime gaming 2ghz processor and 1 gb of ram would be required,

but minimum requ is 128 mb ram and 800ghz processesor, so yes it will work but will be quite slow, i ran 06 on 256mb of ram quite well but upgraded to 1gb for 07 and runs like a gem

Bloody Willie Carson sold my star midfielder William Long without my say so for £1.2 mill cos it was an offer too good to turn down! barstard!

Found a few good cheap player, Ryan Shawcross is class at CB, William Long DMC, Bouabcar Balde at AMC and Febian Brandy FC, all cheap or free.

Playinga medium attacking 4-3-3 with DMC in the middle and 2 AMC on either side with forward runs and fullbacks with forward runs and its doing great for me in all leagues so far.

Having a bad start to my third season, Better squad same tactics and it's not working. Doesn't help that Mbesuma who scored loads in preseason got himself fucked and then Jeffers (7goals in a 11) got injured aswell.

The Cock is getting inconsistant and the only other cover I've got is Shola Ameobi's brother, Tomi or something. He's pretty young and complains if you play him to much.

Think I'm being a bit of a victem of my own sucess a bit, Jumping between 11th and 14th last few games, I'll trash someone and then get beaten. Tried playing a slower passing game but that didn't work. Teemu only just got back and missed preseason which didn't help either.

Sure I can still be up there at the end of the season but I think I'll have to get a mega run to hit the championship.

Having a nightmare with this game.  8th at end of first season but so inconsistent.  Currently 14th in second season and waiting to be sacked.  Seem to get loads of injuries too.  At one point I had to draft in about 6 reserve and youth team players just to get a side together.  Fola has consistently been top scorer and has been called up to Nigeria squad!?

31 games into my second season and i'm 10th, was in the play-offs for a fair while but had a slump over christmas.

i've strengthened with a few signings in the transfer window, hopefully i'll make a late surge on the play-offs but promotion could come too early if achieved...

I'm now on a run of 4 wins on the bounce, just played Cardiff at the CG... DJ campell scored in the 68th minute, Emre Ozturk (turkish german fellow, quite useful) gets another in the 72nd, his forst for the club.

80th minute, cardiff substitute Purse for peter talbot, who, two minutes later, lands a cracking right hook on Ozturk, and gets sent off. superb!!!

I've started my game. Got rid of Whalley and Onibuje, have kept the rest of the squad for now.

After a quick look at the transfer market I've got in Don Hutchinson and Gary Holt to make my midfield even older than it was before! Also saw that Tom Craddock was on the market going cheap so I got him in - noticed Sonic got him and I had him in my FM06 game, he really does start to get good in that so I'm hoping the same goes here.

I need to find a right winger in case Shakes gets injured. At the moment Shakes is my best player, he's being winning the plaudits in the press and Calderwood even sang his praises. It must be the pre-match Haka I've been making him do.

Will probably have a proper scouting mission later and get in some future stars if I can. At the moment I've played 2 games. I lost to Walsall 0-1 in my first game despite dominating (it said I should have won the match easily in commentary/press) and then beat Torquay 1-4. Roberts seems to create bundles of chances then blasts them over all the time  :-))(

Get in Vyacheslav Hleb in from MTZ-Ripo, he cost me £65k in the second season and came to Swindon no problem, a Belarus international and has scored 13 in 33 for me with 12 assists at an average of 7.45, a real classy right winger/striker and Rangers are desperate to land him at £2M+.

Sergio Organista in CM has good stats and is pretty consistent too and got in Rang Shawkat from Man City on loan, a real consitent play anywhere defender, only early 20's and a Danish man, classy defender.

Things are looking up. The board have found an extra £100k for me to spend and have upped the wage budget to £35k.

Tore Andre Flo and Antione Sibierski have joined and I've signed a few decent young players for a bit of competition for positions. Unfortunately, I now have no idea who my best eleven is and I have 6/7 strikers competing for 2 places, which may be a bit much.

Tom Heaton is a cunt, first thing he said when he joined is that he sees Swindon as a stepping stone to stardom...needless to say the fans weren't pleased. :x

Just changed to a 4-3-1-2 tactic more attacking and its working wonders, concede a lot but score more.

Jeffers (20), Mbesuma(17) and Teemu Turunen(15) as AMC got 52 goals between them with Christian Nade stepping in to fill in as back ups when the front 2 were constantly injured got another 13. Ifill from the right wing banged in 11. That's 76 goals from 5 players. If my new left winger starts knocking them in aswell I'll be sorted.

So, looks like I've got the not scoring thing out the way as a lot of them were in the second half of the season where I went from 17th/18th after 19 games to a final finish of 4. If I can avoid a bad start or run like that I should win the leage quite comfortably.

the 2 midfielders Richard Keogh and Teemu Turunen had the best average ratings. Obviously the 2 key positions in a diamond formation are your dmc and amc. Arguably I would have had a better start if the 2 of them weren't struggling with injury.

Signings for next season, 1 or 2 defenders. Get backup for Teemu (Sergio Torres looks like he might ok, can't guarentee him first team football though and his contract is up), and another striker as Nade's going back to sheffield united (my lovely parent club).

13 games into season two, my first in League One and it s going like dream. Won 10, drawn 2, lost 1. 30 goals for and only 8 against and a huge goal difference of +22.

Sibierski has been outstanding, best freebie ever. Scored 11 in 13, doing well with Lukas upfront until the latter got injured. Peacock has now come in and scored 6 in 3 starts.

Now have over 2million in the bank and making a profit of between £500k and £1million every month, mainly due to larger than expected attendances (average of 13,000ish).

I was on a 9 match unbeaten run when Don Hutchinson decided to be a plonker and get himself sent off within 1 minute of coming on (at half time). End result - I lose to bottom of the table Macclesfield. Cue indifferent form, but I'm still 2nd.

I've been playing like we did in real life at the start of the season. Not scoring many but not shipping many goals. I've got in Fadiga and big Dunc Ferguson on frees and some loanee from Millwall (winger/striker). Lots of depth now, but most of my squad will be pensioners soon, which is why I've only got people in on short term deals.

Just stormed through my first season as wilsa krakow, doing the double (polish fa cup and the league)
A bit to easy for my liking, wining the league was touch and go but just scraped it, only lost 4 games all season, in 46 games, scored 113 goals and only conceded 40.
Jean Paulista was my top player endning with a rating o 8.15, scoring 40 goals.
Had a few games going into double figures (best result 12-0)
All in all a good season.

Yes, actually I did. But not by that much, put the average attendance up to about 6500 before I started last season...which was realistic. However in my last game the attendance was larger than the capacity of the ground, so something went wrong somewhere.

well, i was getting bored with swindon. finished 7th, losing out on a playoff place on goal difference. had £1.5m in the bank, making roughly £100k each month, but was only given a choice of £75k transfer kitty with a wage budget of £51k p/w, or £26k transfer money with a wage budget of £52k p/w. asked the board for more money, they turned it down, so i gave em an ultimatum. carson sacked me, then spouted some bullshit to the press saying he was reluctantly letting me leave, thanking me for my hard work and saying we had a good relationship (?)...

farnborough town offered me the managers job, fresh into the conference, but i turned em down...

but then the watford job comes up. relegated from the premiership in 08/09, and after 7 games were bottom, 2 draws and 5 losses. over wage budget, not much money to spend. so i took it. cue a 3 game winning streak, only stopped by the league leaders, then a run of 3 draws and 1 loss, now on a 4-game winning streak. got the wage budget down to the specified level without getting rid of anyone, but am selling 3 players in the january window, making about £4m. got my eye on a few players at the minute, but the squad is quite capable!!!

What type of file extension is it?

i.e. is it in a zip folder or a rar folder, or is it an iso or something like that? Look for the extension if that's the case (e.g. a word doc is 'yourfilename.doc')

If that's not the case you need to look for the setup file. If you're really lost then post the link where you got the thing from and I'll have a lookey.

They're all types of cd image fB.

.bin and .cue go together for one cd image and an .iso stands alone as another type of cd image.

You need to use Winrar to extract them. You only need to extract the first part (lowest numbered) file and it will do the whole lot for you automatically.

Just to let you bunch of ungrateful shits know that SI have released a patch for the game today. That should resolve the Phil Smith wage issue for one (I don't know that for sure BTW, I haven't downloaded it yet as I'm still @ work).

Just remember the data updates won't affect any saved games - it'll only kick in if you start a brand new game - but the updates to the match engine will work with saved games.

There is one file with a .sfv extension, one MSinfo document and all the rest are numbered files from .oo1 up to .039. Cant seem to extract the numebred files :?

Actually it sounds like the one I got.

Right click one of them numbered files and click open with winrar. Then in wirar extract to a directory. You'll get .bin and .cue files. Either burn that to a cd or use a program like isobuster or alcohol 120 to extract the files fully from the bin and cue files.

You need the no cd crack somebpdy posted the link earlier in the thread. You need to get that then copy and paste it to the c/program files/sports interactive/football manager 2007 folder.

Have you replaced the original fm.exe file in the program file folder with the crack? If not that's where you're going wrong. It's really not that difficult to understand.

Anyone know where to download the patch so you can continue with the demo even after its expired? I use the vanilla demo as my compouter is so fucking slow. When I buy my new comp after xmas I will buy the full game so I can get the kits etc.

Finally got round to playing this for the first time since downloading the patch, this morning. Had a huge dip in form, only 2 wins in the last 10 games in all competitions and had my lead at the top of league one cut from 18 to 3 points. Goals conceded now more than double what they were 10 games ago, partially due to losing 5-1 to bottom of the table Bournemouth. This can't all be a coincidence surely?

Tom Heaton is out for a couple of months, Jutkiewicz has gone to pot and Sibierski's goals have dried up. Had a bid for Turunen from Reading for £350k which I rejected, which appears to have unsettled him, since then he's only been getting ratings of 5/6 as opposed to 7/8 previously.

On a slightly more positive note, we're only 90 minutes away from our second consecutive Paint Trophy final and have set a new record for games without losing in the competition. 8)

Gazza, so far as I know, there are no patches for the demo versions. The demos are deliberately released to wet your appetite for the game, in the hope that you'll pay 25 quid for the full version. Or of course, download a no-crack version from somewhere (ask sonic on that one). So I'm afraid you're stuck with having the demo bang out on 31 December until you buy/download the full version.

Going quite well post patch. Second season, 7th in League One in mid October. Got a plum draw in the Carling Cup away to Man City, with a >40000 crowd bumped my bank balance up over 1 mil. Lost mind you. The board are getting a bit pissy with me asking them to improve the youth facilities - I've only asked twice - they're gonna go mental when I ask for transfer funds in January. Just like real life, meh  :roll:

it's a problem with the skins, piemonte. either use the default one or look for an updated version of the skin you use.

SI have made lots of changes to the match engine, there are now 15 speeds as opposed to just the 5.

guys ive just bought the full version of fm2007, and updated it with the patch 7.0.1. but...most of the players pictures dont appear, they just have the grey figure, also alot of the club badges arent correct, i think this is just with the premiership? also, there arent any background changes its just the boring green grass all the time! whats going on?! ive ticked players pics and background changes in preferences, still nothing.

do i need to download add ons or something?

A lot of the premiership clubs don't supply the information to SI for inclusion in the game, however there are a number of useful websites for downloading face packs, kits & skins to make the game cosmetically better.

ive gotta problem, on most of my players it says that the effect of my training has been negative! i checked and saw a number of players were complaining that my training was too intensive, so i turned it down. what can i do? is it to do with my coaches? or what?!

played three games on it now:

stoke - did until feb in the 1st season just to get used to the game, was mid-table in the champ

west brom - won the champ and then kept them at in the prem, comp crashed and i thought that would be a good time to move on

dorchester - won the conference south play-off final 6-0 and was by far the best team in the league when i had a fully fit side. was 3 points off the conference play offs with 10 games to go, but i was a little bored and some of the bugs were bothering me (for eg. my history said i was a player at cheltenham town, bizarrely)

i've downloaded the patch and am gonna start as a L1 or L2 club

Training is perhaps the one area that can have a massive impact on this game, but is often the most neglected area in the game. There are many theories on training, some of which I'll try to dig out later. The best advice I can offer for now is to set up individual schedules for each position (GK, DC, FB, DM, AM, Wingers & ST), and set the intensity notch on the last medium level just below High - risk you may incur injuries doing this, if you do just wind the intensity down a bit. Some people have employed different schedules for each player, depending on what stats need improving.

It could be your coaches to be fair. If you are playing as Town, you are limited to 3 coaches in the first year - with 9 key training areas, that spreads them a bit thin, so most areas will only have 1 or 2* depending on your coaches stats. What I did was offer all my existing coaches a new contract for one year once I joined, then sacked them all in January - this allowed me to bring in three new coaches with much better stats across the board, and meant I paid as little compensation as possible. There are loads of good free agent coaches, but they have random stats when you start a new game (so I'm told). For your three coaches, get one with high stats for fitness (covers strength and aerobic), one with high technical stats (ball control, set pieces, shooting) and one with high stats for tactics - the more you can combine, the better so be careful. (i've not deliberately neglected attacking, defensive of goalkeeping areas, but you get the most benefit if you focus on those key areas IMHO).

Also bear in mind it takes time for the training regime to kick in, so how long have you been going? Also, you won't see major increases in the old codgers, but you should see the young uns stats increase a fair bit with the right schedule.

The patch overwrites the no-cd crack. You will need to apply the new no-cd crack written for the version you are using.  Google it.

how do you extend a player's loan? do you just make another offer as with raith i've had my max. loans and it won't let me do it that way, is there a special way just for extending?

Yeah I think you have to wait until the loan is pretty much up. But I think that extending a loan counts as another loan.

How often do you guys change your formation ?

Its just ive just finished my first season in the conference south with my home town club  Eastleigh, and i managed to get promoted via the playoffs (i came 5th).

However every time i start a new game with Easleigh, i start off guns blazing (can do really well for the first 20 games of the season), and then suddenly go on a 10 match winless run, where i end up losing 5-0 to teams who are in the bottom 6.


In my current game, after 27 games into the season (ie 15 games remaining), i was top by 7 points, and coasting in the league.   However i ended up squeezing into 5th place (and that was only because i won my last 4 games of the season when i changed formation)

Any ideas as to why i have the problem ?

Well Eastleigh are a part time club (but ive managed to get my whole first team plus main subs to accept full time contracts - so they do full time training)  I rotate my team on a regular basis, and at the end of each match,  my players have around 80% condition.

V7.0 I guess.  To be fair the patch did work, but fucked up the game engine so that even on the fastest highlights speed it was  v  e  r  y   s  l  o w.  SY reconed it was something to do with the skin, although I am using the default.

To update on my game, I went up as 2nd in the 1st season and finished 5th in league one in the second season. I beat Leyton Orient 1-0 in the play off semi final 1st leg at the CG.

Only have Nicho, Ifil, Roberts & Shakes left from the original squad

Best advice I could offer anyone is to check the players who have been released at least once a month. (world>transfers) Offer trials to the foreigners - they'll be loads of crap but I've signed 4 good players by doing this.

And Darryl Knights from Ipswich is fucking ace. Fast and skillful, only 19. If his finishing improves he might make it in the premiership

Just wanted to say i got this for christmas. Ever since i became god on FM2006, and won champs league 3 consecutive seasons along with winning prem by 27 points and only conceding 17 goals one season, i've hated losing.

I fucking hate FM2007, my skills are useless!

I got rid of loads of players then bought loads of young talent. I created a decent diamond formation and everything looked rosey.

After 17 games i've won one, my first game, and am on a 10 game losing streak. Roberts is utter shite and misses fucking loads and a load of my magical signings do fuck all.

Seems i'm gonna have to learn afresh and struggle through while dealing with the anger a loss generates. I may end up smashing the game up and noyt playing again. God i'm a stropy cunt. :D

Fm2005 got smashed up as i couldn't win prem or Champs League. Fm2006 is a diferent kettle of fish. It all clicked and i got bored with the winning. But fuck me, when i lost... With only 5 or so defeats in about 3 seasons, you be suprised what a loss can do to you!

Anyway, although the disk is probably intact, it was uninstalled and the game files fully erased. Winning everything and then losing one of the last prem games of the season and ending with 99 points is murderous! :D

If its any consolation, I am managing Juventus and despite a 17 point deduction, I am top of Serie B at xmas! :mrgreen:

i always struggle once i got swindon to mid premiership on fm 2006, the board are a bunch of bastards! (kind of rings true eh??)

2007 i missed promotion from league one to the championship by losing on the last game of the season, i was gutted then lost in the fucking playoffs!!

I found that in one of my first games, but then i changed my scouting and purchasing.

I didn't purchase a single player over 23. I only signed players over 23 if they were super good and available on a free. I only bought players with the goal of moving them on, while still young, for massive profit.

It meant i had loads of a ace youngsters, some which i bought for nothing. I signed a 16 year old argentina striker for 100k, i sold him to Real Madrid when he was 20 for £9m, but he couldn't get in my first team, so good business.

Stole a 16 year old from Sheffield Wednesday for £1.5 compensation. By 21 he was god like. He was worth £10m, or so, and was a full england international and a Swindon Reserve. He averaged a goal a game when played. He was amazing. Strength, Pace, Finishing, First Touch, Dribbling, Accelaration were all 20s or 19!

One of the best peices of business was a young greek i signed at 17 for £4m, which seemed alot at the time, loads of clubs wanted him, but i refused to sell. At 21 he was one of the first names on the team sheet. I sold him to Chelsea for £35m along with another midfielder, who cost £6m for £30m. The following season i sold an Italian AM/FC, who i got on a free, for £45m to Chelsea again. He scored 26 goals from central midfield in 30 odd starts. Amusingly, i then used the money to buy back the 21 year old greek for £8m!

When i quit i had £160m in transfer funds, i could offer wages up to £180k pw, a 30,000 seater stadium, always full, and a team with an average age of 23. Almost no-one in my team was worth less than £8m and my 2 oldest players were 29 and 31 i believe. Didier Digard and Fernando Cavenaghi. It was 2015 i think.

I'm moving towards a youth policy in 2007, i've got some great strikers but they are worried about public expectation which seems to be affecting there form  :|

Best bit of business I ever did on a football game (CM4) was Freddy Adu. Bought for something like £3m iirc and sold for a massive £120m a few seasons later to spurs. Funny thing is spurs spent loads that season but some poor management landed them in the shit. They needed money fast so I bought him back for £9m in the Jan tranfer window. Coupled with a clever 50% of next fee clause I had when I sold him this meant I only paid £4.5m in effect. Bought this game the other day, started off as salisbury in the good old conference south, board and fans expecting a relegation struggle. Became southamptons feeder club, and get a friendly, money and loanees. They gave me Tim Sparv, who is fucking ace.

!5 games in and im currently 10th in the league, board and fans happy. Got nocked out the FA cup 5-0 by bath city though. :(  Im friends with dennis wise, and Jim smith thinks im a cunt :D.

Got offered the BIrmingham job, which was a bit strange. Turned them down though, because salisbury were paying me more.

Can anyone recommend any decent players/tactics which can help me score more goals. I've only scored about 15, and my top scorer only has 5 so far. Thanks

You using the patch or the original game data?

If you're using the original us a tactic which gets lots of crosses onto the box - overlapping full backs with a defensive minded central midfielder and a slightly (but only slightly) more attacking minded central midfielder who makes a lot of forward runs.

Ok started a new game as Juventus (didnt bother finishing my demo as juve).

Umm, i dont know really i've not really had time to play too much, it seems to be injuring a lot of players tho, but i just got relagates from league 1 back to league 2 so will see how it goes.

If you are at the beginning of a season, You should notice that stats will increase when the players return from holiday, then start to sharply decrease for the first month of the season. You should then start to see a gradual increase from then on. It helps if you play people regularly, be that first team or stiffs, as that helps their stats increase.

Im hooked again, been playing non stopp all weekend, been a pretty eventfull few years for me, I quite swindon to take up the Poland Job, Qualified in top spot for World Cup, admitidly i had an easy group Czech Rep, Bosnia, Serbia, Faroe Islands and one other,
Managed to pull off a shock win in my last game against Czech Rep to put me top.
Again i had a nice and eacy group in the group stages on World Cup 2010.

Qualified into the second round behind spain to play romania, beat them but got knocked out in the QF by USA after going 3-0 down in the first half bringing it back to 4-4 and it got to penalties and USA won.
All in all not a bad campaign, i got bored so resigned as poland boss so im not looking for another job and Poland have asked me twice now to reconsider and come back to em.

i give in with the strikerforce Swindon possess on FM, at times I wonder if its a bunch of imposters. struggling for a goalscorer and having fola in my squad let alone in the team annoys me at the best of times.

Has anyone else noticed the pattern of an injury to their 'top' striker in pre season in my two games as Welling and Swindon it happened on both occasions in pre season.

You can get Tim Sparv from sputhampton relatvely cheapley. Hes good at league 2 level

i bought a 'experienced' defender in chris byrne from scunthorpe for 2k. so i'l have to bargain for another midfielder...i feel a player unhappy at the amount of midfielders il have though coming on

Some advice, if your board will allow you go scouting in eastern europe, croatio/slovakia/czech rep esp, great players and very cheep, as in wages, i picked up a striker Lucas Opeila for 150,000 and pay be something like £500/pw he scored a hatrick on his debut and went on to score 14 goals in 10 apps.

Cakeyboy, did you start the game without applying the patch? If I were you, and if you're not too far in, I'd suggest starting again after applying the patch (7.0.1) - if you read back through a few pages of this thread, you should find a link to be able to download the patch. The patch includes a player update which gets rid of Wise, Poyet and Ince, and I think brings in Zaaboob.

But to answer your question, Evans and Weston were my first choice pairing in L2

150,000 is a little out of my budget, but il see if the board can give the scout a european break.

one player that is awesome is andy caton. hes only worth 10k but i know that values aren't always often as accurate as they might seem.

in answer to the patch i might give it ago. if i get the time to sort it out i usually go with a change of skin and not add patches but il have a look back a few pages.  :D

I got Paul Green (AMC) from Villa on a season long loan and Benn Gill from Watford (DM) again season long loan.

Seriously, apply the patch regardless as it makes a whole host of other changes too - I posted a ridiculously long list of them in this thread a while ago. The player changes will only kick in if you start a new game though.

Also, look to involve Lucas in some first team action, you'll not regret it  :wink:

try and get rid of p.smith, whalley, fola, wise, poyet, ccp (out on loan at the moment) and maybe ifil his concentration is awful.

i've got richard keogh on loan from brizzle for 6 months (i know it shouldnt happen but..)

Keep Ifil - he's actually good in the game, develops really well with good training and can earn you lots of money idc.

Its really easy to apply the patch. Download it from SI Games website, run the setup file and you're golden!

I recommend Striker Aguero. His first season in the premiership (I am Liverpool at the mo) he scored 26 goals in 20 games!  :shock:

I had a look at Tim Sparv and didnt think he was the workhorse centre midfielder im after, flair is for the wings and strikers only...apart from roberto carlos in his prime.

and I'l keep ifil in and around the first team, just incase dont think i have much choice for other centre defenders really.

I only got this game at Christmas and have only really started playing it the last few weeks.

I started my second game yesterday after playing a full season in another game to work things out with it.

I think it's a great game and like all the little changes. I don't seem to get much respect for my team-talks though, most of the time they aren't even listening! But hey-ho, I'm joint top and generally play an attacking 442.

I can't get rid of anyone, though. No-one wants any of them. except players part-of my team! Only players in have been 2 Finns: Jussi Savolainen and Teemu Turunen (mainly becasue they were my lifeblood in FM06). I play them on either wings or in the middle with Evans.

Evans, Zaaboub, Turunen, Savolainen and Roberts have all played internationals which really, really annoys me as they are half my team. I still ahevn't found a good keeper or attacking coach.

Also, as mentioned above, Lukas and Caton just can't stop scoring. It's difficult to fit them in though as every game Brownlie and Onibujie have played in they have scored! I've scored 30 goals but Roberts is top scorer with 8! They're all shared out, and that's howI like it.

Get a better PC  8)

The game actually runs faster on my PC than FM2006 which is wierd as I run with a Large database and 4 leagues.

Its only an Athlon 64 3500+ with 1 gig pc3200 ram and a 200gig HD and PCI-E 256mb 7300GS graphics card so its by no means a fast spec PC but the game flies on it.

so so so poor defensively away from the CG.

16 goals scored, 14 conceded.  11 of them away from home!! including a 3-0 defeat against darlo and 4-2 against wycombe.

but started scoring a few more lately..peacock, weston and caton all helping the cause.

But I'm guessing he probably cost the best part of 30 million, so he'd better be fucking good.

Are they the way forward then? i'm going with a peacock, brownlie or caton at home in a 4-4-2 and a slight change when roberts (is fit) with him going from right mid to up top when were away.

My assistant manager says that Morale is very low even though everybody's individual morale is excellent and I am second in the table, unbeaton in six. I signed Andy Caton and would have signed Lukas had I not already had loads of strikers.

he immense of FM 2006 i am atletico madrid at the mo and he is total quality. He is only 18/19. I would recommend two players. Fernando Gago and Gonzalo Gonzalo Higuaín. On the game Gago is at Boca and is DM.  Higuaín is at river plate and he is a striker

I've only recently heard about it and never used it (it's cheating really) but allegedly you can see players potential ability so can decide who to buy/keep for the longer term.

Anyone tried it? Does it work?

tried it for a old version on my 'cheat' game, alongside one I didn't cheat in

anyway, even from the start you culd see the amazing 15/16 year old players - but even then a lot of them had clubs circling who'd pay better money.

It's when the regens kick in in June that it's a lot of fun - sign 15 youth players on frees that you kow will all turn into world class players if you train them right. By the time they're getting 1st team football...(most by 16/17) you'll be climbving the leages with a team full of youth team players

Saying that, it's more fun without. I had a game that I played through til 2020 as Swindon. If you get your training and coaches right, and a set criteria of attributes for youth players (eg, strikers: heading, finishing, pace, strength, heading, dribblig etc all +8) and apply that to the regens, then you normally select players who can win you the Premiership. By 2020, every player in my squad had come through the youth team, had the England front 2 and was loaded purely on the back of selling reserves for millions. Do it that way, much more fun.

I'm struggling, I edited the database so I've got our current squad (without Whalley & Brownlie) and bought in Sturrock jr, Zaaboub and Noubissie.

I've not signed anyone bar a few loanees from Birmingham, my parent club, and I'm 13th after 13 games :/

Im pissed of majorly, my saved game seems to have just dissapeared from my PC, not happy, and i cant be arsed to start again, fuck that.

right, this has been annoying me for ages, and i cant find anything about it on various FM forums that i've searched out...

whenever my cursor is in the FM window (i dont play full-screen, it doesnt make a difference if i do) it has a 1cm x 1cm black box surrounding the cursor, no matter which role its performing (clicking, dragging, inputing etc). any ideas people? it does my head in!!!

What is pissing me off with this game, is all the bloody injurys I keep getting. You always have at least 3 players out for months at one time.  If you move a injured player to the reserves, you get another first team player injured.

Nice to see that you can now view and send matches. Heres how:

Saving Your Match -1. Step one is very simple, once you've either played or watched a match that you'd like to save, simply click on the SAVE option (pictured). Once you have done this save the game under whatever filename you like followed by .pkm now you have your match saved.

2. Having done this all you need to do now is attach the file to e-mail or upload it to the web for others to download (the file is only small, normally around 40kb). You'll find the file in the following place: my documents/sports interactive/matches.

Viewing Other People's Match -1. If saving your match was easy, then viewing other people's games is even easier. Once you have a copy of the match file simply save it in my documents/sports interactive/matches, the same location in which you will find your own saved matches.

2. Once this is done, load up your copy of FM2007 and, on the opening screen, click the 'view match' button. You should now be able to see the game file simply click this to view the game.


To just test this out, and see if it works, ill get the ball rolling

I've always got more injuries than players, the youth team regulary get a run out for me.

But my policy is to give the ''backup, youth'' players at least 5 or 6 games a season minimum. Always good to see Jutkiewicz/Caton with Peacock, or Pook/Wells/(Weston) with Evans.

If you're getting that many injuries it's because you're playing them when tired, or the training is too strenuous - download tug_training from sortitoutsi - and vary your regime as you want from there. haven't played fm in ages....i swore to retire from saving me about 25 hours a day to do 'other' things....I might have to slip back to old habits

spudd, Juve start with fuck all money, a shit defence, 2 1/2 decent strikers... the first year was piss easy, i freely admit that. this year i was expecting nothing but top-10, i've got no squad depth, most of the players i've signed have been freebies and for the last 8 games of the season, Bojinov, Trezeguet, Nedved, Camoronesi, reo-coker and a few other squad players were out injured... my strike force for the decisive last game of the season were pallendino and volpato for fucks sake!


i'm quite pleased with how its gone to be honest, considering i've sold some key players to try and get some funds to buy the players i've wanted... spent £9m on players this year, whilst recouping £21m for players sold... got the club back into profit, slashed the wage bill etc etc...

I started a season with Atletico Madrid and had fuck all money i think it was around £2m in the bank. I did make a nice £4m profit in my first month selling 1 of my defenders.

Theo Walcott and Gerard Pique have been immense for me Walcott with 27 league goals and Fernado Torres with 23.

And just been offered the England managers job after beating off competition from Peter Beardsley! so just going into my first season as dual managership of Swindon and England....happy days.
