It’s true, they had The Town End, Stratton Bank and the Arkells corner one year, I remember it well.
Oh, I don’t remember that one. Maybe then I wasn’t at that game as I’m sure I’d remember that.

The game in question - as you can see from the highlights, Man City fans in both ends.

Could have sward that was Pompey when Alan Ball was in charge. Or maybe it was Man City after all... Either way, that situation did sadly happen at least once. edit: OK, QED Quag

I definitely can't remember that game and it's odd seeing them at both ends

My boss has just been and bought 3 half season tickets, and was told the following with regards to Man City tickets.
Season ticket holders/Half season ticket holders - 1 ticket each The tickets will then go on sale based on the points system, and people who attend both the Walsall and Stevenage games. Then general sale.

There were a few games like that with away fans at both ends. It was a phase the club went through when Rikki Hunt was in charge if I remember.
I do miss away fans getting battered by the elements on a regular basis on the Stratton Bank. It never seemed to rain like that in the years when I stood there. Effects of climate change perhaps.
Shouldn't laugh, but had to chuckle when a couple of West Brom fans had to be treated for hypothermia after a particularly heavy bout of freezing horizontal rain. The cheapo plastic coverings dished out by stewards to away fans were a feature of our last stint in the second tier.

I don't wish to be reminded about that wonderful arrangement of allowing visiting fans into my beloved Town End ! I still have a scar on my head courtesy of a West Ham fan throwing a coin thrown through the wire fence that divided the Town End from the Shrivenham Road.Bastards !!!

City in 1990 wasn't it? Junior Bent with the only goal and celebrity fan Baldrick locked out.

Whats the away capacity now? 900 in Arkells ? in Stratton Bank? I don't think anyone knows, no one seems to even know what the capacity overall actually is albeit official site suggests 15,547

Was always 1200 in Arkells and 2100 in the wet. Lots have seats have been lifted, our capacity isn't the 15,725 seen on various sites. Nearer 14,500 with the gaps.
